I'm starting to not believe this story. Why are those pictures from her Facebook posts so old? Why haven't you done anything about your missing phone after all this time?

Exactly my point. Seems someone just wanted a bit of attention. If nothing else, contact the police, resolve the issue, then post the story.

Believe it or not, there are people who are afraid of calling the police.

Jesus, I know I'm going to sound harsh, but I hope you never get your iPhone back. SHE STOLE YOUR IPHONE. Open your eyes, the police MUST BE INVOLVED if you want to get the phone back.

If you're afraid of calling the cops then this serves you right. Learn from that mistake and maybe next time you lose your phone at the airport, you will contact the police a second time with the clear evidence you already have so they can track her ass and you can get your phone back.

My blood boils when I see bitches like her getting away with things like that. UGH.

There's a possibility this is fake, but there's also a possibility you're a chicken.

Well, there's not much more we can do for him. I mean, telling a few hundred forum members that your phone was stolen and that you've set on the issue for nearly 2 weeks won't help you get it back. Sorry.

very anti climactic thread. Like watching old people F@$%

I believe him.

1. His iP4 was stolen at the Houston airport three weeks ago.
2. He filed a police report and reported the loss to AT&T.
3. Recently, the thief added him as a Facebook friend.
4. The OP gets the friend request from someone he doesn't know, starts reading her pages and finds that right after his iphone was stolen, she is bragging about 'finding' an iPhone at the Houston Airport.
5. The OP is incredulous, wants to tell someone, and comes to MR to report in.
6. He decides to give the thief one last chance to make it right before he reports her to the police.
7. He gives her time to answer the email/text/PM.

If this guy were an attention whore, he would be on MR all the time. The OP is carrying on with his life, not sitting by his computer waiting for the attention.

Give him a break. He is being prudent and careful in his dealings with an underage girl. I think he is advancing with caution.

Well have you contacted the cops yet?!

Yes. I filed a report, and they told me to call back tomorrow before 5pm to talk to a detective contacting the thief. I'm not sure if I should be going through Houston (the city it was stolen in) or Orange, TX (the city the thief lives in).

We have a winner.

Please move forward with this. Just view here as some 30 year-old ******. Don't let emotion play a factor. Contact authorities, provide information and then put her in juvee.

That might not have been the brightest of ideas. Knowing how little kids think... she'll probably toss your phone in the nearest dumpster in fears of it being traced back to her.

You can call the police and get your phone back without pressing charges. :p Outside of for immediate neighbors, the police should be the first people you contact.

If he has established that it was actually his phone that was stolen, she won't be able to toss it away as it would be criminal tampering of evidence.

I'm just replying to this thread because I wanna see what happened to the story, later on. I had my iPhone stolen 2 years ago but Montreal's police didnt do ****.

what happened to you sucks donkey arse BUT you are lucky because she is stupid enough to add u on facebook and such. Im sure the police can track her via her IP address.

work on this now before it's too late. There is a chance you still can get it back. Most people that have their phones stolen dont get this chance.
