This summer? Pretty much zero.

No.
I like the way AT&T gives Apple complete freedom.

I'm not sure Verizon would be this willing. It honestly doesn't matter to me, just give me a new iPhone. Thanks!

You could have just read the poll results.

the question should be whether it's going to effect you any if the iPhone does happen to jump ship and join a different network. Me personally I plan on staying with AT&T because I have no issues with 3G network where I live. Now if Verizon or T-Mobile offer a plan that is cheaper then what I am currently paying then yea I would go.

Pros, IF iPhone goes to Verizon

Okay, well I have one.

If the iPhone goes to Verizon, there will be competition with AT&T.
Which means possibly lower rates.

If this happens, I really don't care if Verizon gets the iPhone as long as it saves me additional $$.

Could you not have added this to one of the many Verizon threads??

A Mod should just merge this into one of the many other threads. It's not a new statement in any way; I've even said this in the past.

Damn you guys need to stop flaming! People aren't on the boards every day like yourselves. If you see a thread that's been posted before, IGNORE IT!!

Pros: No more "When is the iPhone Going to Verizon" threads, including this one.

I was thinking exactly that: as someone who does not live in the US, the pro's for me are:
1. No more "When is the iPhone Going to Verizon" threads.
2. No more "When is the iPhone Going to Verizon" threads.
(such a benefit I had to list it twice)
3. ???
4. Profit
:p

Although I'm sure that if a VZW iPhone is ever launced it will simply be "When is the Apple going to let me change my message bubble colour" and "Verizon vs AT&T" threads that fill the forum instead.

People have a hard time ignoring it. I'm guessing they have a hard time ignoring their wives when they act up too... At one point or another, just get over it, and let it go...

Gettin back to the thread, my #1 pro would be the service.

I went from Verizon to AT&T then switched back to Verizon because of the lack of service(dropped calls) I got with AT&T. I was traveling a ton, and I lost many calls with it. The iPhone kind of turned to junk for me - that is how I looked at it after two conference calls gone bad in one day. I switched carrier's that week, and so has my employer within that same month. We all went back to Verizon. We initially switched cause of price from AT&T. But, as a company, we had issues with service. I would definitely consider AT&T spotty throughout some states - definitely haphazard when Verizon was not. It came down to reliability. I do, of course miss the features of the iPhone, but service is ultimately why I (and you) even pay money for a phone. If a Verizon iPhone comes out, I will be most likely going back to it. The simultaneous data & voice capability of GSM(AT&T) is something I won't miss as much people act like they care about. That really doesn't happen to me as much as these stupid AT&T commercials state. And, it ultimately can play a part in dropped calls from AT&T network.

Verizon has the better network all around from state to state, but the one thing AT&T does have is 3G download speed. They are all around faster, and with the safari mobile browser, it truly is the best & fastest way to surf the net on a phone!!!

you can get coverage in the middle of the desert? truly if it was it would be a piece of garbage.
