iPhone X - AT&T activation time

Success??

After ~1.5 hours, I got a "AT&T Activation Pending" screen. Looks like it's letting me into the phone!

I did the ios update via restore and then activated via iTunes. Finally.

So it just "worked" for me.. I got through, entered zip and last four of SSN, and got a message stating that my "Activation is Pending".. and that I would get an email...................

Did you do anything special, or did it just work after your 100th "Try Again"?

Nothing special. just worked after the 1,000,000th time!

I finally got through!
After rebooting numerous times I used the transfer from other iOS 11 device option and got through, restoring from back up now.

This is maddening!

Ok taking charge of this. Activating by state. Start with Maine, everyone stop activating will get to next state in line in a bit.

Just got through after an hour of trying non-stop!

I'm still waiting for mine. I DID have trouble activation my IP8 in Sept. Finally removed the sim and put my IP7 sim in the IP8. From there on, it worked fine EXCEPT when I tried to unlock it (ATT), I got a message saying it was NOT an ATT phone. Everything else worked fine. Trotted into an ATT store and they fixed it by giving me a new sim card after doing some GEEWIZZ.

Yes I had to do this before go through iTunes.
