Problem is back. Argh...
It’s something in the last two updates. Didn’t have the issue before then. A restart seems to get it back to normal for a time, but it reappears after a time.

I agree... I reset my network settings and it’s all good again. Let’s see if this one will completely resolve the issue. It’s something in the last two updates. Didn’t have the issue before then. A restart seems to get it back to normal for a time, but it reappears after a time.
It’s all clear, if you don’t use your phone, you can arrive as well 4days. AmEN
Reset network settings isn’t a permanent fix. On Apple support forums some said the issue comes back.
The battery needs to be recalibrated. Like I said earlier
It’s perfect, i’m very happy to know test your phone is so good, i work ad well in ER, in Radiology, but I have more FreeTime, thank you so much.I guess this is directed at me, even though it has nothing to do with the thread topic. I worked 3 shifts in a row, getting only a few hours of sleep between each shift in the call room, and didn't have a charger the 2nd night. I work in an ER, so I don't spend a ton of time on my phone while working.

do you mean just run all the way down and charged up? that's the permanent fix? Can you link me to the Apple support discussion?
Hard resetLook at my usage lol all messed up no idea what’s going on!
That’s exactly what happened on my 8+ all of a sudden after running beautifully for a week, brand new phone. I tried many things to find the culprit for days to no avail, then did the network reset and it’s been running perfectly now. This issue also presented itself on my new X immediately after restoring from my 8+ backup. Went straight to resetting network and my first charge since 2 days ago still has 35% with 6 hours of usage.Look at my usage lol all messed up no idea what’s going on!
Thank you! Im also draining down the battery all the way- to be it calibrated! Before I do that I’ll also reset the network the stats looking good check it out 16+ hours of usage lol still have 25% left! That’s exactly what happened on my 8+ all of a sudden after running beautifully for a week, brand new phone. Give the network reset a try. The only thing you lose is Wi-Fi password to all previously remembered Wi-Fi networks.
I did hard reset then shut it down and it did not work!Hard reset
no worries! Let your phone die all the way until it turns itself off! then wait 5 minutes - plug in the charger and leave it plugged in for 8-10 hours...Sorry how to make a calibrate the battery in iPhone X?
Did it resolve for you? Mine does the same thing but I hard reset it and it seems to be better. Will try the network reset if it the problem persists.I agree... I reset my network settings and it’s all good again. Let’s see if this one will completely resolve the issue.
Yes... Permanently resolved now.Did it resolve for you? Mine does the same thing but I hard reset it and it seems to be better. Will try the network reset if it the problem persists.
Battery needs to be recalibrated. A network reset won’t fix the issue for good.
How does one recalibrate the battery? Do you mean just draining it down to 0% and then charging it to 100%? Thanks.
Same issue here.
I tried everything.
Restore from iCloud-Backup, from iTunes-Backup... nothing. Without Backup... nothing at all.
Then i went to the Apple Store, because i had a few issues with the iPhone.
They replaced it.
And boom, the issue is gone. I use the new iPhone X since a week and everything is fine.
Very strange.
Ok, I will try this. Thank you. Hopefully I don’t need to have it replaced.Yes. And when it hits 100% keep it on the charger for at least another hour or so.

They replaced it? Damn all the battery needed was to be recalibrated.
This continues to happen to me. The days it occurs the battery life is noticeably shorter than the days it does not. This is a real issue :\
