My device was set up as new and I still have the issue. All of these fixes are just temporary, and I’ve tried them all.

Have you tried uninstalling all of your 3rd party apps (just temporarily) to see if usage time changes? Then reinstall them one by one.

And the other question is do the people with the problem have maybe one of the apps witch i post earlier? So we can maybe see witch app is the problem (in the case it is a app... what i dont think but who knows...).

I have YouTube and Google Maps, that’s all.

Hmmm ok. what i know there was a battery problem a few weeks ago with the iPhone X and the YouTube app but what i heard they fix it. And i think in the battery info we would see the YouTube app as a battery drainer when this app is the problem?!

Google released a update for Google Maps yesterday with some "small error fixes"....

All these work arounds don’t last
Obviously this is a software issue
Apple IS aware of this and hopefully will address this in an upcoming update

No, it seems to be an app issue. I haven't had this problem on a 5S, SE, iPP 9.7, 8, or X, all on or upgraded to iOS 11. Hell, my work 5S has gone from iOS 7 to 11, all updates, and doesn't have this problem. Other phones were either migrated from iCloud backups or clean installs. So I am fairly confident that iOS 11 isn't causing the issue. So it has to be an app.

Yes maybe a app. But it could also be a problem with the latest hardware (A11 etc) and iOS 11. It seems that many people with the X have this problem. Also in german and other forums.

For me still all fine since the hardrest.

Btw i get my in the beginning of december and the problem starts a few weeks later. Maybe with 11.2. Before 11.2.1 the problem was allready there.

I also have had this issue only once and after closing all the apps, restarting, charging till 100% never had this issue ever again. I have a lot of apps on my phone (some I only use once every two months or so), so I also blame a certain app that could be causing this.

Hi all
For now I not have issue, after recovery mode on my X and dont take a back up but as a new phone, after one week it seems ok.

My iPhone X after restore by itunes worked perfect for 2 weeks, but after the issue come back now.

After two weeks the issue come back now, 2 week ago i didd restore by iTunes and everythings are K, but now same problem. i ma very tired of all.

reset network settings, reset all settings if needed, if still needed itunes restore.

I did a Hardreset a few days ago and since then all fine. I have to say that it after a update on 11.2.2 cames back but a Hardrest fixed it also so far.
Lets wait for 11.2.5. next week.

Ok wtf. I checked my batterie in settings... the same again for me too. Yesterday all was fine. Since today it is back. Bug...

Battery drains also faster... Also the X feels more laggy then.

Since 11.2.2 the battery drains considerably faster! My X is less than 2 weeks old, when new I thought this battery was amazing! Even with the indexing and considering the fact that I was playing a lot with all the new features. But after installing 11.2.2 the battery got a lot worse. Definitely a software issue then.

My settings: All email and various accounts are set to ‘manual’, background apps is off, screen set to 30%, iCloud is on but with minimal services (find my phone is off etc). Bluetooth is off. Network signal is so and so (2/3 bars out of 4). The battery should last considerably longer (at least the same as it did when brand new!).

I have the feeling that 11.2.2 is eating up a lot of resources and consequently draining the battery?

My battery drains only faster when standby and usage are the same. When not my batterie is amazing. In the evening still around 60%.

Do you also have the bug with the same usage and standby?

I think maybe many people have that issue but didn’t notice it.... After a restart all is fine for a while.

Ps also on 11.2.2. But the bug was also on 11.2.1 and 11.2

You've been told repeatedly that it's not a bug, but you won't listen. I'll try again. Find the application that's not allowing the phone to sleep. Remove that application. Complain to its developer. Problem solved.

Why would you do such a silly thing?

Haha ok when you told that’s not bug it must be true. lel. Of course I want listing to you :)

People tried allready a fresh and clean iPhone X without any app and the bug was also there...

Ok there is something you can try. The next time when standby and usage are same let the iPhone on so it will turn off when the battery is empty. Then go to: Settings--> Data protection (Datenschutz in Germany)--> Anlaysis (below) --> Anlaysis Data = and there search for "LowBatteryLog". There you will see what drains your battery. For me it is "mediaserverd: com.apple.audio.VAD". Search on Google for that and you will find some People with that error. That service is an Apple service thats seems buggy and not a app.

So that prevents sleep/standby for 29h.... Usage and standby will be the same...
