Yes and it promised me 11/3. Bunch of liers.

The UPS site never even showed my order even after trying my phone number, order number with last two digits backspaced, typing in my address. Nothing.

Chiming in to say I'm in the exact same boat, except that my phone is with Verizon. Absolutely no indication of any point of a problem on Verizon's end. Waiting to be called back by a senior support agent.

Oddly, I was told that all supervisors are unreachable because they're busy with some sort of internal Apple special event. I normally wouldn't put much stock in this offhanded comment from a first-tier support employee, but at one point someone did try to transfer me to an escalated tier and I instead received a recorded message saying that the employees were off-duty to watch an Apple Keynote, and I could watch too on the Apple livestream site (obviously an old message, or else someone selected it as a generic "out of the office" notification). The call then disconnected without transferring me.

Maybe it's an emergency triage all-hands session, where instructions for how to make things right for us are being disseminated to supervisors? I also heard offhanded mention of something like a free case or free charging pad from one support employee, and another kept making oblique strongly hinted references to "making it up to me somehow" when I eventually get called back. However, I'm being quoted 24-72 hours for that callback time which would make me SOL for a resolution by 11/3.

The worst part is I originally had an in store pickup for November 3. But I cancelled that because the reservation email said they would ship it and deliver on nov 3, saving a 30 min drive.

This happened to me too. I think something happened to the shipment that contained our phones.

Is anyone who has experienced this exact situation (a confirmed 11/3 date preparing for shipment before suddenly downgraded back to "Order In Progress" and 2-3 weeks out) not an Upgrade Program member?
[doublepost=1509613596][/doublepost]Apple rep tells me they are bombarded with people whose orders were affected by some sort of system glitch. Unclear whether he was referring to this exact, specific situation or the more general issues with carrier authorizations, loan approvals, etc.

I’m not. I paid outright. But I did use the ticket reservation system.

My sincerest sympathies with those affected by this tragedy - hang in there, or prepare to stand in line. :/

I sincerely hope you’re being sarcastic. My city was hit with a terrorist attack yesterday and 8 people were killed. That’s a tragedy. This is just a damn phone!

Just do the IUP and pay the phone off if you don't want to do IUP.. Then you get the benefit of pre-approval etc. and your carrier gets pinged before the launch then you click submit on one page. Much less chance of 404 errors/routing errors.

It’s been 2 days now since the original call with Apple and I’m still waiting on a call back from a supervisor.

Has anyone that had their order pushed back heard back from Apple yet?

I called yesterday and they said my phone was still on hold until they can figure out what the issue is.

Super frustrating that even after a few days they still don’t have any resolution :(

Always possible a pallet of phones was stolen.
I think all of us that had our date bumped back have been delayed by an error in communication between Apple and our carriers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but all of us with the delay purchased with Apple, not carriers.

All orders from one source, Apple, being delivered to multiple carriers?

Sounds like Apple’s side is where the “error” lies. Is there a solid time frame that these orders flaked out that would narrow a specific communication breakdown?

Apple finally called me back about this whole situation.

They were able to correct the issue with ATT but unfortunately, even management was unable to move my shipping window up.

Originally had an 11/3 promised delivery and now I’m 17-24th window :(

I’ll be getting the X but not for a few weeks :/

Oh well

Yep, I just got off the phone with someone who called me back from Apple. Their answer? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Looks like they had to figure out a response to all of us who are in this situation, and then started calling us back.
