the icarez problem is some edges looks deeper esp viewing like this sites even when its perfectly installed.i think this a general problem if there is a black outline like icarez

Pre, what do you mean deeper?

pre, when reading text on the webpages the corner or corners may look deeper when viewing on an angle compared to the x without screen protector the text is like on top of the screen. just wish icarez made the black edges thinner

Are there any screen protectors out there now that provide full coverage and does not have the dust problem under the sensors??

Bought another set of IMOS - 2.5D with holes in the sensor. Hopefully this is better than the 3D which collects dust in the proximity sensor. imos 2.5d has a hole in the proximity sensor and the true depth camera. Will post pics once it arrives.

We cover the complete back and sides including the back camera. Also, we include for free an extra back only piece as another option.
do you have a skin that cover the bottom side where you can find lightning and speaker? Because a need it, I'm using an apple silicon cover

I ordered a WhiteStone Dome temper glass screen for mine. It'll be here next week.
They're pricey, normally $45. They also take time to install but the have adhesive on all the parts that the screen cover and should keep air bubbles from getting in. They don't have the lifetime warranty like iCarez and others

I put one on my sons S8+ when he first got it earlier this year and it's silky smooth

amazon has them for $30 so I went ahead and got one for the X since they make it.

Here's a guy on YouTube installing one

I have the iCarez in the redbox that I haven't installed yet. I'll probably send it back as long as I don't screw up the WhiteStone install:eek:

Plan to install it before I go to bed and let the adhesive finish curing overnight and then put it in the case when I wake up.

Did you receive the whitestone dome?

Pls update us
Just got it a little while ago. Took the X out and used some nitrile gloves, don't use latex powder gloves for obvious reasons :)

This version of the Dome came with an extra bottle of adhesive unlike the one I got my son for his Galaxy S8Plus so you could take the glass off and redo it, which was nice so you do at least get two shots at it. It has a smell but not as bad as I remember when doing the S8Plus

I basically followed the guy video I posted earlier. Although I did do the UV an extra time, I did it on the S8+ and it came out fine.

It goes out to the edges but doesn't full curve over it but I think once I put it in the case I got it'll be about right.
I'm going to let it sit for a few hours before I put a case on it.

Simple process but sure is freaking hard to find a place that is 100 level HAHA

I will say I didn't like the little wipe down cloths they provided. They liked to leave little white dots. The dust tabs picked them up without a problem.

It looks like what the guy in the video showed.
I'll probably send my iCarez back to Amazon and probably one of the two cases I bought. I'll decide that in a few days as I have till Jan31 to return them but $20 is $20:D

Honestly wish I would have just gotten the Icarez. $100 for two screen protectors is such a waste. But the 2.5D is smooooooth

I like the imos brand since their oleophobic coating last very long. Also, the glass is very durable and they dont crack. They said it’s “corning” glass that is why its expensive...

Doesn’t Belkin use the same type of glass?

Took off my icarez and immediately noticed faceid working better. I think those saying no issues aren’t noticing the slight degradation it causes. It works but definitely not as well as without. Sticking to an open top protector for now.

I was having the same problems with icarez + face Id. However, I reset face ID and set it up from far so that it opens when my phone is on the table. Working 95% of the time now vs 50% before.

I installed icarez and I am very pleased. The oleophobic on screen protector is amazing, it feels like the actual screen. Thank you all for recommending this. FaceID works perfectly fine.

Quick search shows that I may have been the only one here to buy the Griffin Survivor screen protector. It's not cheap but it looks amazing with only one cut out for the top speaker only.

I've been waiting to install it for weeks after I was sent the wrong coloured iPhone X. This is the first edge to edge screen protector I've ever used and it fits perfectly with my Caudabe Sheath with no issues with the protector lifting back up.

FaceID has always been a hit and miss for me even with a 'notched' (uncovered FaceID sensor) screen protector on my first iPhone X. A quick test with the new screen protector on my new phone doesn't seem to show any issues compared to an uncovered FaceID sensor.

Looks exactly like the 3D Full iClarez on my X.

Sure does, but unfortunately for me that product doesn't ship to Australia, at the time at least.
