I still have yet to find a space gray demo phone in a store. I’ve went to two sprints, a T-Mobile, and 2 Verizon. Not one had a space gray and only two had a silver.

I do love my silver but I would love to see the SG in person. I think I want to switch but I’m running out of time.

You might have some luck at a Best Buy if you still haven't seen one yet. At my local store they had both on display.

I ordered the 64GB iPhone X Silver in launch day... two of them. Sold 1 for 300aud (not usd) more than i bought it for and kept 1 until yesterday.

Turns out i go and return that one, not only that it also had a battery issue [relatively fast battery drain with heavy use] 3 hrs use time 100% > 25% o_o, been doing more videos with it since I got it due to the stabilization so returned it to apple. Apple has also confirmed with me during a diagnostics check that the battery was not performing up to standard so they acknowledge it and I'm out of an iPhone X for now until the new one comes in.

and ordered a 256gb Space gray for delivery. hopefully the upgrades next year are friggin incremental then i see no reason or temptation to do the yearly upgrade [duo-year] crap] and get more value out of the iPhone X [if they press the upgrade features way too quick it might spur temptation to upgrade again >_< i hope apple does incremental from now on until 3-4 years later [hehe]

imho only went with the space gray because the silver one didn't kinda make sense with the front being all black :s [personal preference]

The only reason I can see some who will go with the 64GB Silver/Space gray is the ones who have either the luxury of offloading 4k 60fps videos onto the PC/mac immediately for processing and maybe some photos after awhile. If they can do that and aren't too fussed with the constant activity then maybe the 250$ extra is worth saving in that regard. which is good for consumer.

Space gray is always more available in my area. Silver is the one which is always sold out by the moment it is available.

I went with the silver 256GB and I’m glad i did.

Honestly could of gotten away with using the 64GB but oh well, better safe than sorry and the price difference between the two kind of made sense to just do the larger GB device . I’m coming from a 7 Plus matte black so it’s refreshing to have a lighter color this go around

Silver is indeed a stunning and gorgeous color.

Decided to go with iPhone X 256GB Space Grey, I'm hoping to keep this phone for at least 4-5 years, given it's concurrent price tag in Australia but so far loving it very little cons afaik not "missing out" much, adapted quickly and easily.

How much does the X cost in Australia ?

kinda high lol 1579/1829aud respectively for 64/256gb models. Just got my phone today as they had it in stock in store luckily and I live 5 minutes close by the store by walking distance.

which according to Google converter as of typing this now, that translates to 1194.51/1383.64USD for 64/256GB storage with tax [10% GST]

i can claim 10% GST off as I'm travelling overseas to Malaysia for holiday in middle December 2017, which makes the iPhone X 256GB more reasonable and within reach...

which is Price/1.1 = 1435/1663AUD <=> 1086/1264usd ... 64/256gbs storage respectively.

Japan has the cheapest 2nd to USA if i'm not mistaken. so jelly of the prices, but then it would cost me a lot to fly there 'just to get it' even on holiday... so meh.

I usually switch between space gray or black, and silver.

I went for the 256GB silver. Looks great. I have a ton of music, and I’ve always had to use the sync at 128kbps option to fit music on the phone. Syncing took forever when restoring or setting up as new. Now, I can use 256kbps. All iTunes purchases no longer need to transcode, and I have higher quality versions of the lossless cd rips that sync. I can sync in just a few hours rather than overnight.

Color is a matter of taste

Size is a matter of practicality as you wAnt to be able to take advantage of 4K
The more you take videos the larger the size you need

I got it in Silver, 64gb. I like the silver more than the space grey, but the space grey seems to be more readily available. At least if you are looking to pick one up at a store.

Ironically I can't find a SG in store (256 GB) anywhere near me.....only Silver models. Just my luck. I actually owned Silver and returned it as the short time with the phone got the impression it will not hold up over time. The band scratches if you look at it wrong and I am too picky with phones to deal with that. I do agree of the two colors though Silver looks best but I use a case so its sort of a mute point. Enjoy your phone!

I have never been so disappointed at a cell phone as I am with this new iPhone X. It does not deserve $1,000.00 at all. I am returning mine next week. The phone is ridiculous and that black thing on the top doesn't help at all. And the darn thing is small. That CEO has got to go. Apple is no longer innovating anything since Steve Jobs died and the only reason this Cia still out there is because of all the money Steve brought to this Cia. Everything they sell is old technology. The Mac Pro is a disaster and they are aware of that and they are trying to come up with something worth all the money they ask for it. The darn thing looks like a trash can and thats exactly what it is a "trash can". There is no more innovation at all. Steve died and these people don't know what to do and Ivy can't function without Steve. They keep coming with "S" this "S" that, and name new products that looks exactly like the old model. The iPhone 6, 7, and 8 looks the same. Put them all together, you don't know who is who. Too bad Steve is gone.

Well I think it’s the best iPhone yet. You seriously think earlier models are better?

There were about 4 or 5 Apple stores close to me that had 64 and 256gb space grey iPhone X’s. That is the first time I’ve seen them in stock at any store near me though. And they’re about 3 hours away! Lol. Enjoy your X as well!

It may have been said before, but if you are getting a case, if a color is in stock that wasn’t your first choice, go ahead and get it. You truly won’t ever know with the case on. My wife was dead set on the silver, but got the SG.

If you are a clear case user, I guess I could see being particular. Ever clear case I have used seemed to show dirt/dust underneath. Frequent cleaning needed.

Have always owned black or grey...the more capacity the better. Not a hard decision -- passing up an 8+ was a hard decision.

Couldn’t pass the silver this time around. Compliments my watch very nicely.

Currently have the 6s Plus (which I’m happy with) but if I'm getting the iPhoneX and then it would be 256GB Silver one.

I preordered a 256gb Silver iPhone X on 10/27 with a mid November shipping date. But, when I saw the phone in person on launch day, I actually preferred the Space Gray model, so I canceled the order an placed a new one.
I chose Silver mainly because I love the iPhone 8 in Silver color (but in fact the overall look is completely different) and also because I've always had dark phones so I wanted to change.
I was trying to convince myself about keeping the first order (silver), since I didn't want to place a new one and wait longer. But, eventually, I love the stealthy and seamless look of the 'black' one, as I find the SS frame on the Silver way too shiny and slightly distracting for my taste. Also, I like how the camera is less noticeable in the SG model.
So, here I am, waiting for my Space Gray to come. :)

So after using the silver one and comparing it to my friend's SG, it's very obvious that the Silver has a ton more scratches on the stainless steel band than the SG. The Silver definitely stands out more, but not sure in the long run (for resale value) it will hold up as well as the SG.
