Nope, I said you have to tweak to make it less stutters
It's obviously a bug and a bug that bothers some. A bug.

You completely missed (or ignored) the point of the post where I state why I turn off reduce transparency, which to me seems like trolling.

But seems like this is a bug. Similar to the bug where the Galaxy sent your photos to random contacts. Do you think there is a tweak for that? Maybe turn on airplane mode.

No kidding, they don't even like apple gear and do nothing but bag it and leave comments all over this forum with a little pink face and tongue sticking out lol, attention seeking and too much time on their hands.

Yup not fixed. Sad but I knew that before updating. I think we get rid of this in ios 13. ios 12 is made for older devices and that the xs has a operating system

Just returned my XS Max today and have got a brand new replacement, the Idle stutter and youtube 60FPS video stutter issues are still present on the new phone.
Btw, glad to see EverythingApplePro (well-known apple tech Youtuber) addressed the stutter issue in his lastest video.
Start watching from 6:47
Fingers crossed that Apple is seeing this.

EverythingApplePro should've mentioned the video playback choppiness on the XS and XS Max as well.

This needs to get around, seriously. Even worse than the 'idle' stutter.

Oh FYI crazy news, Apple is trying to hush this whole thing apparently... They just shut down the Apple Support thread that helped start this whole thing! You can't access it anymore it gives an "access denied".
Smh...

Same here too. Access denied. Strange especially as this happened as soon as someone mentioned about Qualcomm and intel chip modems affecting the scrolling on iPhones in the apple forum. Sorry for directly cut and pasting someone else’s comment but since we have all been kicked off the apple forum of this issue, it is obvious that apple are trying to hush us up. This persons comment was as follows which I find makes complete sense of the issue:

iPhone Xs animation and scrolling stutter
Scrolling stutters because the Intel modems are slow to get / pass data. Why do we think so?

(a) It stutters more when scrolling to new content, particularly images or video. Scrolling already-loaded content is smooth.

(b) Only some iPhone X models have intel modems which is why that phone is smoother for some users and not others.

Frame drops across the OS are because Qualcomm no longer lets Apple use its low power algorithms and Apple’s in house algorithms have yet to catch up. Why?

(a) The issue is present on all A12 devices, including the new iPad Pro. The A12 was the first chip to have dedicated low power cores. Older iPhones run better because their CPUs are forced to idle higher.

Apple usually reacts when there is a decent amount of attention brought up by the tech blogs. But honestly it seems even the blogs don’t care about this issue. I have not seen it mentioned anywhere.
