Apple usually reacts when there is a decent amount of attention brought up by the tech blogs. But honestly it seems even the blogs don’t care about this issue. I have not seen it mentioned anywhere.
True, but the fact that they took the whole thread down means they are trying to hide it. That is a pathetic move from them. I would expect that from a chinese company, but not Apple.

Also on the apple thread two weeks ago the me too box at the top of the screen that was reading 1500 people was shaded out so you could not see how many people had clicked the box to say they are experiencing the stuttering.

I wonder if the addition of references Qualcomm and the on-going legal disputes between Apple and Qualcomm are behind it coming down. Wouldn't surprise me.

It also could be that Apple knows it will be fixed with iOS 13 anyway. Who knows..

This thread/issue interests me because I'm one of those fussy folks who wants my devices to work perfectly as they should. No doubt this issue is annoying to those who are sensitive to it and who are able to easily see it, but for me and my wife (we each have an XS) this issue is so imperceptible we can't tell if it's real or imagined. I've looked at some of the videos depicting this and can't really see it in them either. The "frame drop" occurs in just a fraction of a second. No disrespect to those who see this and are annoyed by it, but for us, if we can't see it, it doesn't exist.

Wow ! If you find this acceptable then this frustrates me. If people accept this now, then I wonder what IPhones will be like in the future? Probably sub standard and all have stutters and frame rate drops because people like you think it’s OK.

It’s not a drop of frame rates here and there; This stutter is across the whole UI. Gaming is frustrating and watching video. Why should we put up with this stuttering when all older models don’t have it ? Accepting that the frame rate drops is completely ridiculous and this adapts a society that do not challenge the wrong and allow faulty products to be the norm.

If you can't see the problem, then it's hard to get worked up about it. I can't see it either, as much as I've tried. Nor can my wife. (XS Max)

I can’t see the problem either. My max doesn’t have the stuttering issue. Could be because I’ve turned off much of the eye candy.

The issues you're experiencing are not acceptable, but we're not seeing those issues on our Xs, and sorry, dude, but life is short and there are bigger fish to fry than getting worked up about something that's invisible to us. If you're seeing it, then you have every right to complain.

Ok people, we are not here to fight, but to share our experience regarding this issue. If there are some of you that do not care about this problem and/or do not see it on your phones, then good for you. There is no use to challenge the rest of us who are having this issue.
If you don’t see it, it doesn’t mean others don’t. Check the slow motion videos again on Facebook and you will see the frames dropping like on a cheap phone. Many of us are seeing that every day with normal use, there’s no need to argue about this.

Nobody's fighting. Nobody's saying we don't care. Nobody's challenging. Nobody's arguing. Some of us are simply stating that we don't see this issue on our devices. Those of you who do can rest assured that you have our heartfelt sympathy and support.

Do you work for Apple ? Lol :)

Thanks for your sympathy and support. We (the majority of us on this thread) and the 1500 people on the apple thread (before apple took it down) are simply trying to establish why this is effecting us and our phones. Remember, apple have neither acknowledged this and have not got back nor replied to anything posted about the stutter and UI lag on our phones. We just seek an answer on why this stutter happens to all our brand new expensive phones and not the older phones. Maybe we all have a faulty batch ? Maybe newer ones have been fixed but with no one from apple speaking to us, we don’t know what the problem is. I still remember taking my XS to a tech guy at apple and he acknowledged it saying his XS does it as well after showing his. He said don’t worry as this should be fixed in the next update. This was 6 months ago ! Heck ! All my emails to the Apple shop are ignored so you can expect that the majority of us on here have a passion in finding out what’s wrong with this device and why the silence. Also if this is confirmed as normal behaviour in new apple phones then customers should be told that so they can make an informed Decision as to what model to go for. Ie for a smooth UI with no stutters you need to buy an older model !

Do not listen to people who are supposed to promote the apple brand product at all costs, make crazy people from the customers and sweep the real problem under the carpet. Read my previous posts, and do not listen to Justin.

In my opinion, this is a deliberate treatment that aims to cover the worse drawback. The performance phenomenon of apple devices was compounded by rapid battery drainage, heating up, automatic shutdown of the device. They introduced power saving, you can not turn it off or interfere, Apple has achieved the goal at our expense, counting on the fact that no one will notice the consequences of their treatments. Only mass opposition to such a policy and enforcing attention to every detail will induce Apple to at least each of us can decide how to work his device, and disable the battery saving profile, for me the most important thing is the performance that I can enjoy in every second, not just in a way that someone will impose on me.

I finally saw the microstutter. I have a max and It really doesn’t bother me.

I can’t really fault those who paid top dollar for this device, wanting these devices to be perfect.

People look to the future, what progress between new generations opens up new opportunities. Nobody even thought that the top devices will suffer from problems at the level of an Android phone for $ 10. What Apple is doing now is the retreat of everyone in the name of greed which will lead everyone to understand and stop buying their products for competition.

I know. It’s bad isn’t it ?
Thing is I noticed it straight away without anyone telling me. Problem is, I was so used to my smooth 6s and was expecting top rate performance with the XS but just couldn’t understand why it was stuttering especially when scrolling. I will never buy a brand new device from now on unless it’s been out for at least a year just to be sure and will obviously double check reviews. Companies are pushing out products way to fast just to get ahead of the competition and as a result things are missed.

Who would buy the latest iPhone if they said in advance that the characteristics of the application of the oled panel is smudging, we give you the fastest CPU but unfortunately it turns out that the battery can not stand it, so you need to cut the performance by half. This was about honesty towards the client. Knowing this truth before making a decision can be made. In the meantime, we feel cheated.
