Reading your statements, I've been persuaded to test 12.3 beta 2. I must admit that it is much much better, but I found places where the problem occasionally returns when scrolling pages. Yotube, App Store. While the main page works without any problems, by entering the game tab, the applications can be seen in the occasional crop. In my opinion, we are going in the right direction but this is not the end of the fight, just another battle.

I think we've discussed this before but the YouTube app is trash. Scrolling stutters there for me as well, and I'm using a 7 Plus. Always been like that. Same goes for the App Store. Can you share a bit more about other scenarios, like browsing with/scrolling in Safari, other apps and watching videos with different fps e.g. 24/30/50/60? Thanks!

Throughout the years I've had a 5, 6, 6S, 7 Plus, 8 and a XS and I've always seen, albeit occasionally, a little bit of lag here and there. However, what I experienced with the XS was unbearable.

Either way, the recent feedback sounds promising.

I agree, I just updated to 12.3 beta 2. So I haven’t played with it too much. However, these are my initial reactions. First, the home screen swiping is noticeably smoother. Second, the app switcher is a little smoother but still stutters every now and then. Third, scrolling appears to be the same, so that same little stutter. Fourth, closing and opening apps is a little smoother as well, but still has the occasional stutter. I haven’t tested games or battery life yet, but will update once I have. Overall, the update is significantly better than previous versions, but it’s not totally fixed like others have claimed.

It's just a beta. I have great hope that the next editions will be even better, and the official version will treat us with a new quality of work of our devices, hopefully do not spoil it!

In order to get the best liquidity experience, the whole animation has to be perfectly synchronized vertically to the refresh value of the display, as it is in older Iphone models. A lot of factors affect the desired effect. The key is perfect interface and application optimization. Personally, I'm waiting for it! 12.3 beta 2 is a big step forward, but it can always be better and we will strive for that! In my opinion, the effect could be brought by changing the style of animating the entire interface more accessible to the OLED display.
[doublepost=1555100545][/doublepost]There is one thing I look at and I am asking you for the same. The percentage of phone charge is great in maintaining synchronization, smoothness and speed of animation. I do not understand one! At 100% charge the animations are much slower than at 50% Nay! the more the battery drops in% the phone becomes even more responsive! In my opinion it should be the other way round, check it and let me know! That sometimes it does not turn out that when the battery reaches a lower level, the CPU clock speed drops and, paradoxically, it is better at scaling the entire interface.

I'm glad you guys appear to making progress towards a fix for the stuttering issues. Apparently Apple did indeed hear the complaints, even if they never publicly acknowledged the issue...and in spite of the fact that they deleted the associated thread on their support forum. Which, in retrospect, was a really weird move.

Apple may still have some work to do - but the latest beta sounds like a significant step in the right direction.

Wtf .. you’re right when the battery reaches a lower level is very smooth .. I observed they from 12.2 beta 1 .. I thought it’s just me ..

The highest percentage of battery charge is to ensure the highest possible performance of the device. It's not only 12.3 beta 2. I've watched it a lot earlier! The situation is at least weird and specifically the performance management of the device. Everyone sees it differently because each of you has a different percentage of the charge in a given moment and this translates into the speed of animating the interface. In my opinion, this is an error that contributes to the subsequent problems with liquidity, scrolling, opening, closing applications, but also responding to commands!

It’s possible, but I can’t say it’s anything That is noticeable on a 5s, xr or max. Sure, there could be a bug related to performance, but one would think the sleuths with geek bench would have outed that.

As recently a beta tester 12.3 beta 2 I managed to pay attention to the error in the software which involves the activation of high performance device not adequately to the battery level. at 100% -80%, all IOS devices on board operate less smoothly than at 50% and lower. devices operate in different modes of performance management depending on the condition and the state of charge. It turns out that with less than 50% cpu clocking decreases, or some processes in the background cease to be active as a result, the operation of the devices is smoother. The heat release at 50% and lower is also smaller and in this range everything works correctly. This is an error that needs repair. For all those who appreciate the IOS system, IT is deceptive and harmful to IT PERFORMANCE. The time at which you can enjoy high performance of the device is only 50%. If a person gets used to the high standard he will catch any shortcoming. Keep your fingers crossed to fix it, report bugs!

Have you contacted about this? As I said my anecdotal experience is that this is not the case. But Apple is always interested in reproducible bugs.

Yes. everything has been described in detail, I'm waiting for an answer ...

I7guy , i really struggle to see any reasonable input from your part in this discussion.

We all already know that you are not experiencing the issue.

Please, do not feel obliged, when someone tries to bring any essential details regarding the problem (as the post before yours), to remind us that your device is just fine.

Thank you.

I focus on details, analysis and raising standards at the time when others either do not care or do not want to do it. A large part of people just agree that buying a defective product. When I test the equipment I try to pay attention to everything, it has to do with my work and what I do on a daily basis in my private life. In private conversations, the amount of arguments I send to them is quite numerous, Unfortunately they never officially confirm, never deny. Through anonymous messages, I get a confirmation in real problems in IOS optimization so as to get all performance advantages and especially when it comes to new devices! I encourage you to take reports, all errors and in particular what may be the greatest asset of APPLE, if it is refined. LIQUIDITY like water in the river of animation and the entire interface.

Not that I feel there is the need to justify the posts, however my input in this thread stems from the original postulation from some posters that “all” iPhones suffer from this issue. That seems to include many more users than me.

I would like to point out it is not up to any one individual to determine who posts in any thread on macrumors.

Of course, it is true that not all Iphons suffer from the problems described. Time to spread the cards on the table. 1. All Iphones released for sale for masses will overcome this problem. 2. models selected for testers, youtubers, people who can significantly influence or undermine reliability, employees of APPLE and related to it, receive devices previously checked and sometimes differing in specifications. Testers do not have the idea that they got a model with a significantly increased hardness of the screen surface compared to the store versions, praising the strength of toughness. 3. Such persons have the task of issuing the most positive feedback about a given device and have a significant influence on what advertisement. 4. The device for the masses goes to all of us, they are often unfinished, the software tries to overcome it. Reliable reviews are ordinary bread eaters. Listen to this voice on a daily basis. They are disinterested people who just want to enjoy what they paid for. I am telling you that our equipment is not tweaking AS THEY CAN DO, you have to strive for it. It's not just the practice of APPLE. However, you need more from APPLE because you have to pay dearly by calling yourself a PREMIUM dealer.

That is a very serious accusation of unethical behavior on the part of Apple. Do have proof of this or is this just your personal conjecture? Show documented evidence that this occurs.
