It is evident that the investigation of one's rights is for some a salt in the eye. If we focus on what assurances and promises made by Apple employees during the purchase, it should not surprise anyone that expectations are just as big.

6s, X, Xs.

And all your deceives are stuttering.

I’m using two iPhone XS Max and two iPhone X I’m not finding any stuttering in any of them.

Neither of my XS Max were perfect, One had a pink shift on the top of the screen the other had random reboots. Apple support replaced both of them and none of the phones I used had any stuttering.

Have you or anyone posted any videos of the stuttering iPhones in the thread?

Look for it around the 02:48 mark.

Animations in X are slightly slower, which makes Stuttering less troublesome than Xs. With my X is a long story, but in short on IOS 11 it was a nightmare. I exchanged 4 times, massacre, ordered to wait for updates, and so up to IOS 12. At X Animations work much smoother than on Xs but the colors have lost their saturation. On Xs only after upgrading to 12.3 beta 2 is better, earlier I also mentioned the nightmare suspecting that they give me the same part because I made the exchanges at the same point. The colors are also not as intense as they were with the original software. I do manage somehow by changing the color filter in the settings.

Ok your talking him about animation speed.

Yeah I wish apple could speed up the animation like they did when iOS 7 launched, well before everyone complained it was to fast.

What options are you using to make the colors pop?

That’s a terrible video, I couldn’t see what he was trying to illustrate, even the guy seemed to get confused if he he actually saw something or not.

Is there a better one or another video?

General / Availability / screen amenities / color filters. There, you adjust everything as much as you can.

It's pretty obvious actually. You can see him closing the app exactly between 2:50 - 2:52. If you don't notice the dropped frames.. don't really know what to say.

It took this person almost 3 minutes of using his phone to demonstrate some issue. The video is terrible and the issue nearly impossible to see. I wonder how much of this is real and placebo.

Once again, I get it. You can't see it. Which is great.. for you.

That’s what I’m saying, I’m wondering how much is placebo? Vs reality? Vs non-existence? So far there has only been one obvious video that reliably demonstrates stutter.

Saw it on my phone way before I found this video. Is the video stutter placebo as well?

It’s not obvious at all, in fact you keep having to give the exact place in the video this happens. The video can’t even focus on the iPhone

its just a weird guy saying it’s stuttering, the first two minutes were painful to watch, even the the guy wasn’t sure.

Is there another video, something that’s actually clear.

We are not making this **** up ! Even the guys on this forum that say they don’t have it say it is I micro stutter and can live with it. For some of us that are more sensitive of the stuttering can not and therefore are Very Passionate about the subject.

But there is only one video here, poor quality and an unreliable source.

Don’t really need another xs max already have two. Let me think about it, Color/capacity?

There is a for sale section on the forum if your serious about getting rid of it. Should go fast.

I think the other posters that are saying it’s a micro stutter are being empathetic.

Why are you posting on here if you don’t have an issue ? I don’t get it ?

My standards have always been very high and I have always been very good at attention to detail. So from coming from older versions of phones that did not stutter, I have definitely seen a difference in newer ones with the stuttering. My XR was so bad I assumed something was wrong and replaced it with the XS. Replacing the device was easy because the store agreed there was an issue. The XS had the same issue but worst, probably something to do with OLED screens. As for a bad batch, I don’t understand as there are a lot of people around the world with this problem and I am on my third replacement Xs over a period of 7 months. As for categorising what group I am in, I suppose you can put me in whatever group your opinionated to put me in but I don’t care. Would not lie about the stuttering because what would that gain me. My issue is simply the fact that why should I put up with stuttering UI and scrolling issues in newer devices. I still can’t find any new phones that do not have the issue in store. The scrolling issue is not on any older devices so why the new ones and why should we have to put up with it.

Also, really happy with the results of the new Beta so it appears that the UI can be improved or even fixed and will look forward to the new updates. Very strange that this update has improved the stuttering across our affected phones, but people who say they did not have the issue, have said that they feel the UI has slowed down in recent updates. Yes, slowed down but with less stutters and I would rather this be the case and compromise over battery performance. Would make sense if the frame rates were slowed down to mask the odd jitter here and there but not sure. Of course people with low quality standards and low attention to detail would not be bothered.

These days there are more products getting rushed out too quickly without extensive testing, especially products with OLED, 4K HDR technology, not all these products are perfect with constant software updates to fix issues. Just like when the 4K Apple TV got released without automatic frame rate/ resolution ability resulting in jittery video playback with dropping frame rates. Spent months complaining about that until it was fixed. That’s probably why people are complaining about video playback because there is no ability to choose what frame rate and resolution is being shown and the phone is trying to upscale and is stuck on 60hz.

I pay a lot of money for my gadgets and expect high standards. As I previously mentioned, I will not make this mistake again and wait at least a year to see how the products doing before getting it.

Just for clarity: my question about groups was intended to be about me, not you. Rereading it, I can see how this wasn't entirely clear. I was trying to ask if you believed me when I said I don't experience stuttering on my phone...or if it is indeed stuttering and I just can't see it...or if I'm lying about the whole thing. I absolutely didn't mean to imply that you (nor the other people posting in this thread) are being untruthful about your experiences.

My own answer is that my phone doesn't suffer from stuttering. I've looked for this behavior, watched the videos, and recreated the actions to see if I could reproduce the effect. I still see nothing. But I'm open to the possibility that it's there - sometimes - and I haven't been able to notice it. I have no way to disprove that theory, even if I find it unlikely. In general, I've never considered myself to have low standards with respect to quality in anything I own. I've fought battles over relatively minor QA issues with TVs, cars, computers, clothing, etc. But I guess it's possible that this single facet of my phone's performance simply doesn't pop up on my radar.

If true, that means the stuttering on my device is incredibly subtle. Which implies that it's possible every phone may do it, but almost no one notices. This would also explains why the issue is receiving relatively little attention (at least, nothing relative to prior Apple controversies like antennagate or bendgate).

So - either they all stutter very subtly, or only a small percentage of devices do it. I know which possibility sounds more likely to me, but again, I have no idea how anyone proves that. Maybe I should ship you my phone so you can take a look and tell me if I'm blind.

Each of you can see what the problem is if your eye is not able to base the video material, I can not do it enough, but the user's manual, however, I warn you. Once you've done it, you can not see more. 1. turn on auto brightness 2. charge 100% 3. reduce the brightness to a minimum 4 Set the black wallpaper 5. turn on all animations 6. disable all app in the background. 7 restart the device. 8 switch on Stittering stuttering stuttering. More sensitive to see it in any settings! have fun!

I'm going to do this but I want to make sure our settings match. Is True Tone relevant? Do you have TT on or off? Currently I have auto-brightness on, and TT off.

TT off,

You can turn on screen recording it does not matter and that's how it's seen perfectly.
