For a few days my iPhone Xr is going crazy again. Nothing helps. Everywhere stuttering. Touch often does not react anymore. (Ios 12.3.1). And I see that the animations in ios 13 are the same. So I have no more hopes. It will never run smoothly
Did you replace your iPhone XR? If not, why? I guess it’s a hardware issue

Yes i did. But it is the same. Still shuttering. And the second time they said that it is not a hardware problem but a software problem...

Sounds like software. Very weird type of software issue, but software.
If it’s a software problem, they could solved it by iOS 12 updates. But now, he told still stutter in iOS 13. It means this issue will be not fixed in iOS 13 and at all!!!

If it’s a hardware issue stuttering wouldn’t come and go. It would be there permanently. Hopefully Apple will get to the bottom of it. I wouldn’t worry too much about iOS 13 beta 1.

I got my XS max this January. It worked perfectly for a few months. A couple of months ago I noticed that any app/website playing video or playing a game with high frame rate (i.e Real Racing 3) will start dropping frames during video playback or game play and exhibiting distorted audio if there is a pause by the user and the phone goes into temporary power saving state by dimming the screen. The issue is also repeatable if the the user intentionally adjusts brightness (up or down) using control centre while engaging in the same activities. This issue is not random and can be reproduced at will. User can limit the issue by disabling auto brightness and not adjusting brightness during video playback or game play. However, if auto brightness is engaged the issue is unavoidable. I have done a factory restore of the iPhone using iTunes to no avail.

Maybe the problem can be due to our iCloud accounts? One person wrote in reddit..after making a new Apple ID that fixes the issue and his Xr is running smoothly. Can it really may be about that ?

I tried it last month, but still I can see animation stutter in everywhere!

this fourth beta is more of the same, same as the previous one. It's not bad, but it does not end well at all.

Aaaahhh, this may explain why I don’t always see this issue, I typically turn off Auto Brightness on all devices I use as I hate it.

But I do see the odd stutter here and there

Up!
iOS 13 Public Beta 1 is out. How XS(Max) works on that version? Stutters?

I've noticed on my iPhone XS that if I am scrolling through something, say a webpage in Safari, when I lift my finger for around 10 seconds to read something, my phone stutters for a hundred milliseconds or so when I start scrolling again. Seems small, but it's very distracting, and the 6s I'm coming from doesn't do this. Had anyone else noticed this issue?

My current theory is Apple's performance controller is aggressively throttling on idle to save battery. Really hoping this isn't intended behavior.

I don’t see, perceive or experience any stutter with beta 6, except in the Youtube app.
Do you mean iOS 12.4 beta 6 fixed stutter issue? Or you mean there were not any stutter before this update? Thank you
