iPhone XS iPhone XS - momentary stuttering after inactivity

Not sure what the issue is but I had it with my XS that I returned (immediately noticed it when I purchased it) but not with the XS Max that I kept.
 
On the Reddit, most of people says the stutter has been fixed on beta 5. Hopefully this is true

Nope. I had a XS originally and don’t think I had the issue. Then I exchanged it for another XS and immediately notice something was off until I figured out how to replicate it. And now with my XS Max, I cant replicate it.

strange. For me all XS (Max) devices are concerned.

I don’t think so. I had a coworker that couldn’t reproduce the stutter when closing apps on his Max which was one of the reasons I decided to return my XS and try the Max instead.
 
My girlfriend got the XR today and it does not stutter at all...

I actually want one, I’m impressed.
 
12.1 official when will be released? It.s about monday? Hope the stutter will be fixed.
 
Could it be ios12 is not yet perfectly optimized for the Xs? It's been so smooth on my X. Maybe it takes until later ios12 versions to run as smooth on the Xs...?
 
I have an iPhone Xs and have the same stutter issue. I checked r/apple r/ios r/iphone and there aren't many complaints about it. This is personally my biggest issue with this phone :(. I hope it gets fixed by 12.1
 
This happens for me on both iPhone XS and iPhone XR, it happens less frequently on the XR but make no mistake, the XR is affected too.

What the hell Apple?

I have to disagree.

The XR my girlfriend got Friday, and the one I got today do not suffer from the same stuttering noted in this thread. I returned two XS's because of the stuttering; I am 100% sure the (two I own) XR is not affected.

I'm glad for you but the XR I have here absolutely displays the same issue.

This is concerning. I am absolutely positive the two I have do not have the issue. Also, not all of the display XS and XS Max’s I have tried to replicate this on have stuttered.

I am starting to believe this isn’t affecting all of the new models.
 
I’m thinking to sell xs and get an xr now. Probably, it’s an hardware issue on xs
