I am not only salivating I am sweating like a pig too....Its 37 Degrees Celsius here.

Same here. What's going on in Cupertino? A few too many staff focused on the iPhone and not enough on the ipod touch?
 
I wonder why is message saying "7/17/2008" ? Or is that normal? I never looked at those messages before I just hit upgrade lol
 
Answer me this if the Itunes store is "unavailable" then how come I am looking at **** in the Itunes store. Apple what gives.
 
I KEEP PRESSING LEARN MORE AND IT JUST DOES THE SAME EVERY TIME!!! I've been on my computer for 6 hours!!!
 
for those of you who have succeeded in upgrading, does the screenshot trick work for the Touch as well? where would the pictures go since there is no "camera roll" in our Pictures app?

They're stored as Photos.

If Apple doesn't even have the update ready, they should take all their links away. There's several from the Apple site that all lead to a broken link.
 
How i got 2.0 for free:

Installed beta 8.
Put my iPod in DFU mode.

iTunes will automatically ask you if you want to "Restore and upgrade" your iPod and start downloading the update (which is 2.0 final).
 
See I heard that they are going to release the software in Cali time 8AM, right now there is 6:19AM so let's hope :) ?

Ill keep updating on my blog

PS: Friend of mine designed Iphone 2.0 upgrade, he did not respond to my email yet :)
