iPod Touch 2.0 Firmware Update (Almost) Live

Well I hope your iPods blow up, you disgusting pirates. $10 is nothing compared to the functionality you'll be getting in the update.

It isn't the fact that it is $10. It is becuase we are impatient cusses that expect more from Apple. When the update is readily avaliable for download, most people will get it LEGALLY.

I already paid them for the january update, i think i got robbed as i bought my touch AFTER the update came out,this makes us even.

Downloaded, installed, restored …*'accessing iTunes Store', Error!

My phone is a vegetable until it 'does something' from this point … the iPhone page just says 'iPhone' in the middle of the screen.

my purchased songs from the phone etc are all 'missing' too …

You just have to let it connect to iTunes. Once it does that it will start to work.

forgot to backup my ipod so i lost my stuff, whihc aint that big a deal, just have to recopy stuff.
one thing is however troubling me, i cant access the itunes store or app stone on the ipod touch using wifi

I paid $20 for the january update, thats like $4 a month pretty much..I feel pretty justified to sticking it to apple and getting the update for free.

Anyone successfully downloaded this, installed it, and have a fully functioning (including iTunes Store and App Store on wifi) iPod working? My DL is slow, thanks to all of us grabbing it
