Brilliant Film
Loved the execution of the movie. Outstanding tutorial on how to build fake pics.

Well, Lost is still 4:3 and if Apple was changing all their content to widescreen (why they bothered with 4:3 in the first place, who knows) then one of the more popular shows hasn't been changed over.nagromme said:In that case, I won't believe there has been any change, unless someone can show me a specific example of something that used to be 4:3 now being 16:9. Anyone want to explore some iTunes content for us?![]()

beatle888 said:i dont think so. the look of the rumored video iPod has been consistent for a long time. i cant remember the first time i saw a mock up of the video iPod which featured a touch screen taking up the whole front of the device. theres nothing NEW about the rumored LOOK.
syklee26 said:why anyone would waste time and resources to make that is just beyond me.

i've seen these around the internet too, have these people got no clue what an iPod is? they probably just googled "video iPod" and got this.
By the way, great job on the video, but... I wanted one...![]()
Could anyone host it as a .wmv so I can save it with Flip 4 Mac w/o purchasing Quicktime Pro?tonybeak said:I've hosted it on my server. http://www.deproductions.ca/fake.mov
tonybeak said:Guys I've been watching the video and I think I've figured out when it was made.
It was made yesterday because during any special events, Google has "Google Doodles" on the main page, that have something to do with the event. Well, the most current event was the olympics. Today's illustration is a man and a woman wearing medals. Yesterday's was a man playing hockey. If you watch the video, you will see that while the "hoaxer" is searching for an "lcd colour test", the Google Doodle in the video is infact a man playing hockey. So.. the video was made yesterday. It is a "recreation" of the fake picture.

MarcelV said:Look at the video and look at the photo. They are NOT the same.
Color pattern is much more 'shady' and has much more saturation between lower and upper bar. Second, bar code label does not show the 7 on it. Third, it looks like the cable is a different cable.
Not saying the original is not fake, but video and photo are not made by the same person, IMHO.
