I don't want that agreement, I want regime removal
We couldn't defeat Iraq/Afghanistan after 20 years and thousands of lives of U.S. soldiers and trillions of taxpayer dollars.

Iran's three times the size of Iraq.

Liklihood of U.S. overthrowing Iraninan government: zero percent.

This is the first President to bomb 8 different countries. What an embarrassment. And now he wants to dismantle NATO. Gee I wonder who that’s for? 🤔

You mean the GLOBAL inflation due to supply chain issues brought on by Covid? That inflation? The inflation the US recovered from far faster than any other developed nation? That Inflation?
Then why so defensive and quick to call it “transitory”? Was it? No, the self inflicted inflation that everyone was gaslit about.

I guess iran will be sending plenty of terror bytes to Apple HQ, where is our avenger Donald Trump when we need him.

You act like North Korea doesn’t exist.
No, actually I’m frightened by the impression that I’m of the few here who know about North Korea.

You act like a world where a non-nuclear North Korea didn’t exist.

Maybe learn from history instead of criticizing those who support not repeating it.

But a great deal of the posts are that Iran was NOT a threat. So Iran has been a threat for a half century, but just not the last few months?

There is a difference between “a threat”
And “a threat so grave we need to launch an offensive war of choice against them.”

I don’t understand how anyone can think this was well thought out or necessary given:

1) this administration claims we “obliterated” their nuclear program nine months ago and is claiming we had to attack now because Iran was “days” away from a nuke and was an imminent threat. Like, even if someone thinks Trump deserves the benefit of the doubt on this you’d think clearly and blatantly lying about the reason for the war is a massive red flag.

2) we’re lifting sanctions against the regime we’re fighting because those in charge apparently didn’t realize Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz (something we literally discussed as a likely outcome of a war on Iran in my Nuclear Proliferation course in college twenty years ago).

Seriously, we lifted sanctions that resulted in the regime we are fighting getting an extra $14B! So they’re a massive, imminent threat but we’re going to for them billions of dollars while we’re at war with them?

3) The lack of any attempt to sell the public on an offensive war of choice prior to starting it. Like, you’d think the Administration would realize the “well actually, Iran has been at war with us for 47 years” argument doesn’t convince anyone who isn’t part of the 32% (and shrinking!) percentage of true believers who still approve of the job he is doing. But I guess they’re in a bubble and high on their own supply.

There was no need for this war. Iran was contained. (Admittedly, less contained than when they were when Obama signed JCPOA, but electing an idiot has consequences). They were not an imminent threat. They weren’t close to getting a nuke. (Again, closer than they would have been had Trump not ripped up Obama’s deal, but that doesn’t mean actually close)

I see the goal posts are moving from "the media and liberals were silent about it" to not liking how the story you describe was reported, if indeed stories did use the word "transitory."
I certainly never said the media was silent about inflation. They were just waiting for the talking points to parrot. Transitory was a good one. Well, except for the fact that it wasn’t.

Apple are of course a target. They are used for comms by the west.

This is nothing to do with Apple's political decisions, behaviour, etc. its purely due to what they are - a manufacturer of communications devices.

If it wasn’t “transitory” interest rates never would have gone from 9% to under 3%, would they?

Using a primary source, Pete Hegseth himself, which he has repeatedly stated for anyone willing to listen, the goals of the US operation are as follows:

Objectives: A four-part strategy to militarily cripple Iran's ability to act against U.S. or allied interests.
  1. Destroy Offensive Missiles: Neutralize existing missile arsenals.
  2. Destroy Missile Production: Raze the infrastructure used to produce missiles and drones.
  3. Destroy Naval and Security Infrastructure: Target Iranian naval forces and security apparatus.
  4. Deny Nuclear Capability: Permanently ensure Iran cannot develop or possess nuclear weapons.
You’ve used yourself as a primary source. That’s pretty wild.

Gas prices up from $2.80 to $4.20 in under a month and now this.

Thanks Donny for finally Making America Great.
Oh no, that's terrible! Meanwhile, here in the UK, diesel is now $8.42 a gallon (conversion from litres to US gallons and GBP to USD) and rising daily 😐
