I'm confused.....So, for pre-orders, they don't require a credit card??? That's just weird to me......I'm really wondering if they actually got my pre-order or not, even though I have the email. Especially since there's no confirmation number or anything on it....
They ought to take down the preorder link and let anyone who is currently in finish preordering, then open it up again. It feels like they probably have the same people (me, for example) logging in again and again to preorder, and it's messing up the whole system.
I hit the "iPhone 4" button on the product reservation screen of the iPhone Apple Store app, and nothing happens. Just sits there.
I can't get into the servers either. I even called ATT and they said the servers are crashing so my only option is to keep trying.

Tell me this though: if I pick up in the store, will I have to wait in a huge line? Or is it just walk right up to the counter and get it?

I'll be interested in seeing first day preorder numbers. There better be at least a million for this wait 
Got all the way to the "book reservation" button in the iPhone app. But then it says "could not create your reservation at this time, please try again later."
Just reserved mine using the Apple Store App!!! Took about 2 minutes, incredible how much easier that was.
Just one thing, in my confirmation email it said my price is $699. I'm elegible for my upgrade so why would it say this? Does it say this for everyone?

The "beyond pissed" stage is where you stop giving a flip and decide to move on with the rest of your day. That is where I am. I'm soooo sick of entering in my personal data over and over and over and over again only to time out at the last or near the last stage. This is really a pathetic showing for Apple. I hope this day doesn't go down and the day Apple got to big for it's own good.
Probably because Apple can't talk to AT&T servers right now. I'm sure it'll be fine when you pick it up.
It said mine was going to be $699 as well; I've been upgrade-eligible since March or so. Apparently, it's doing that for everyone and the correct price is what you'll be charged when you pick the phone up on the 24th.
