Yeah, I'm not excited about the iPhone 6 because I don't upgrade for another year, and I might not even get an iPhone for my next upgrade. I'll probably get an HTC One since I already have another ios device. The apps are better on ios, but I really don't use my phone as much as I used to.

Yes, Me. I only care aboot iPad. I'll get an android phone. iPhone bores me to tears. It's really great with what it's supposed to be and do but it's not for me.

Bigger iPhone?

I might be in a minority, but I really appreciated the original size of the phone. Being able to use it one-handed, was a huge benefit for me. I really don't like the size of the 5, and making it bigger is even worse in my opinion ... and I have large hands. The phone should be the size of a phone, and a tablet the size of a tablet. A watch the size of a watch would be nice. I don't need a hybrid phablet!

iPhone 6 for me?

I know, a new phone, but as I think about it who really does need to spend $200-$750 for essentially a bigger screen?

Really, I have a 5s with LTE, (one reason to update any phone), I have retina (another reason some may), I have a fast processor (really not that important), and it actually fits easily into any of my pockets, my car cup holder, my dash mount, and my hand for one handed use. :)

I admit the screen will be nice as now my aging eyes appreciate big screens most anywhere but I will make the decision when I get to play with it. But, really, do I need to upgrade....

Yes, this time.

Having a 4S, I was the same way with the 5 and 5S, meh.
However, with the 4S showing it's age, I'm very excited.

Looking at it as step from the 5S to the 6, I could see how people would be lackluster over it, especially if they don't really much care for a bigger screen.

Of course, I agree with everyone that points out how you cannot be excited about something that you have no details about :)

It's hard for me to be excited for something that doesn't exist. Once we see the iPhone 6 I'll let you know if I'm excited or NOT excited.

I am excited about a bigger screen I must confess and a camera upgrade would be a bonus. Better battery would be nice (imo nothing was as good as the iPhone4 that battery lasted forever)
More ram, new processor would be nice but does anything even come close to maxing out the 5s hardware? Spec wise thats a beast. Apple has sells on the potential that all there hardware has but before anything gets to use it we are already 2 or 3 devices past.
Don't get me wrong I am excited for all the things mentioned and I will be getting one.

I've reevaluated what I want in a phone and my iPhone 5 does everything I want. A bigger screen is not on my list of desires. As long as the next iOS is available for my phone I don't care too much.

I'm more looking forward to a TBD refresh, interested in the new Macbook Air, I want to see a bigger iPad Pro (similar to what Microsoft just released).

I am excited just to see the features of the new iPhone. I have a 5S and cannot upgrade until next year so it really doesn't matter to me, but I love seeing the new features. It shocks me at how people can pass judgement on the next iPhone when they do not know anything about it except rumors. Dismissing the iPhone 6 right now seems premature. At least wait until they announce it.

I want the 5/5S shell with a larger screen. I don't need it to be any thinner. If the 6 has that Samsungy look and feel, I am out. I'll find a killer deal on a 5S.

I am fully entrenched in the Apple Ecosystem, so it is almost a given I will be getting an iPhone 6. My first iPhone was the 4 and have been upgrading every 2 years. I admit, I did get start getting screen-envy when the Android Notes starting coming out. Honestly the size is almost enough to make me get one - almost. The only complaint I've had with the iPhone is the battery life. I wouldn't consider myself a "heavy" user of it, but every night when I go to bed, it's below 50% battery (and I am on the 2nd battery).

So I wouldn't exactly say I am excited about the iPhone 6, since I am getting one regardless, but there are 3 things that could make me excited: a 5'5" screen, considerably better battery and a better camera (which I think the 5 has a decent camera already). I might be apt to use the phone for more things if it had a better battery, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm using a 4S, and will be able to upgrade by october, but I don't like these mock ups with curved corners, so I'll upgrade to the 5S

As a 4s user the upgrade to a 5 wasn't worth it while the 5s was the first year with the touch id. I preferred to wait and make sure most bugs were ironed out. I personally don't see the need to upgrade each year, but over a 2-3 year period, the changes are visible. But as with the iPad mini, the biggest remarks were about its' improved performance and I am always hoping for better loading, smoother operation and unloading from my phone. One of my wishes would be to have multiple finger swiping from loaded app to loaded app. But as Apple has laid out crumbs of info pointing to not only a watch but also updated iPads and maybe a TV somewhere, I am looking for solid device integration as well. I guess I would say that I am a little excited while being very hopeful.

I'm looking forward to the iPhone 6 for the larger screen mostly but also touch id which I missed out on having a 2 year contract with my iPhone 5. However, I am also holding my breath with the rumor that the price may be increasing another $100.

Btw, Haven't seen a new mock up in the past day or so :p

Touch ID, meh. I can fire off my 4-digit PIN at least as fast as the scanner can authorise my thumb, and with no potential security issues either.

Less excited than with the 4S release - and certainly not excited about a potential increase in price!

Give the 4S Touch ID and I would never replace it!

Given the rumours of the iPhone 6 and iOS 8 -speacilly the latter- I'm not that excited as other years.

I don't care much about screen size. I don't care much about new faster CPU or amount of RAM, fancy fingerprint sensor or new, 5% better camera. I will be excited for bigger battery or just longer battery life and wireless charger.

I am excited about the 6. If it's an iPhablet 6 I an 100% certain not getting one. So my excitement is confined till I know if the 6 will be a phone or a phablet.

Apple have my sale if it's a phone.
Apple have no guaranted sale if it's a phablet. I will stick with my iPhone 1.

If Apple release a phablet and really prove to me why the Apple phablet is so much better than every other phablet on the market I'll think about it, but it won't be a guaranteed sale.

I am NOT excited about the new iphone 6 with a large screen. I have a 5S and I still like the idea of putting my phone comfortably in my pocket. My wife has a galaxy 5S which she had to purchase (rather to have had an iphone) and while I gave it a try to see, the larger screen is nice...but Again, it is a phone, the 5S's screen is large enough.

If you want a large screen, why not just go with an iPad mini...? I am typing this on a iPad 3 and that is plenty of screen!

Based on past behaviour…

I'm concerned it will be another 8MP camera. Seriously? (Another reason I'm looking at a Nokia with 20MP, thanks very much.)

My main concern is that the 6 WON'T have a much larger screen. The most reliable rumours have been about pixels and not screen size, at this stage.
It's 4.3" minimum for me or I'm going to Nokia Windows for a while, because Apple just doesn't seem to be getting the message about how far behind they are on screen size.

The other problem might be iOS 8 compatibility. iOS 7 was constantly rebooting on the 64 bit 5S, and it's safe to say, the hardware was known well ahead of time last year. IF the 2 sizes rumours are true, the hardware will be up in the air until the last moment—and that looks like another iOS7/5S incompatibility situation in the making.

Apple quality has taken a dive in the last year or two. Too many devices and services now, with not enough people to maintain the quality. Everything is even more rushed than when Jobs was there.

Where services should be improving by now, they're just getting worse. Podcasts got even worse again this week. My iTunes is hanging, crashing, and popping a dialogue every hour (there it goes again) about logging-in to a podcast in my library that finished up in 2009 and wasn't protected when it was active! And last week a podcast appeared on my iPhone called Not Found and not the slightest clue where to look to fix that.

So, not much confidence in Apple software in general at the moment…

I think that 4.7" screen is a good strategy from apple, I currently have HTC one X which is 4.7" and even though i have quite small hands i can operate it with one hand just fine. IHowever i don't think I'd get the 5.5" version that just seems to be too much.

I really didn't like the screen change that came with iphone 5, adding a row made it look like a remote control. But i might get 5s when the price drops :p

Because how is a iPad mini even remotely comparable in size to a phablet..

I'd still be fine with my 4s if it had LTE and a better battery Or at least a more accurate % indicator; there's nothing worse than the phone dying with ~25% showing on the battery . I'm not concerned about screen size at all, other than it allowing the phone to be small enough to fit in my pocket.

that's how I feel about it

I've got a 4 and have been experiencing a lot of hiccups lately. (People can't hear me on the phone, slow even after resets).

5S seems the best option if the potential rumors are really true, in my opinion.
Especially since you can get them with nice deals already.
