Watch this video. near 4 minutes this guy starts talking about the camera, and claims that Iphone cameras aren't really made of sapphire like Apple claims. the thing is... can someone proof that iPhone cameras are really made of sapphire?

Yep, it is kinda their own version of sapphire. Still very resistant to scratching.

They call it sapphire but it scratches at the same level as glass. Thereby defeating the entire point of using sapphire.

I don't care what they call it...if it scratches at moh level 6...it's not sapphire but glass

sapphire should resist upto moh level 8..

The camera lens cover is actually Sapphire Coated, not the actual camera it’s self. Two different things.
