Mine has spent it's life in the Apple case. I only take it out occasionally to clean the inside surface of the case. I find that, at least with my iPhones, dirt can get in the case and scratch the back of the phone so I want to avoid that with the iPad. So far it is still pristine.

I had the Apple case, but got stick of it, so I sold it. I liked the case, but I like to use it "naked" better. I just have the Wrapsol for iPad on the back and sides. The screen is unprotected. No scratches anywhere (at least not that I can see lol)

Perfect :)

I got my iPad the day it came out. Put a silicon case on it in the car and then I put on a screen protector when I got home. Still no scratches on the back (due to the case) and no scratches on the front!

:D

Mine now has scratches around the charging port and headphone jack. I'm assuming this good considering there are no scratches on the back or front. My silver apple on the back is pristine. I've had it since day one of the 3G model and I still have my box ready to go waiting on iPad 2 release.

The glass on mine is still unscratched (knock on wood ), but I did get a dent right on the plug in when I dropped it off the bed. It hit right on the wooden frame in such a manner that it dented it there in spite of its leather cover.

I did some body work with a screwdriver and I can now plug the cord in and have had no further problems. (knock on wood).

I use the Apple case so as for the back and sides, they are clean as mint. The screen, somehow, got a half inch scratch in the middle -- it's almost invisible but the idea of it being there kind of bothers me.

I've had mine since May, and there isn't a scratch on it. Not one that I've noticed anyway. I originally had it in the Macally Bookstand, but I switched to the Apple Case in July. They have provided great protection.

Yes....I picked up my iPad from the apple store, walked to best buy (in the same mall) and had a screen protector applied and bought a silicone case for the back. When OtterBox came out with the Defender I bought that. It's as pristine as the day it came out of the box in spite of being dropped several time by my kids.......:D

I've had it almost two months, no scratches so far. But I haven't cleaned the screen for a few days so I can't say for sure.

Mine is! Of course it's still in it's original packaging, wrapped, and under my christmas tree. Hahaha.

Well, mainly, except for a few marks.
But the other thing that annoys me is, ever since I got it, on the corners (the sides, not the four corners) there have been small little marks and dents across the sides, and I'm sure it wasn't me!

Exact same here. I've had mine for about 4-5 months now and it's still in prestine condition. I refuse to use any other case because the Apple one has been designed with some thought - everything rests a couple of mm above the front surface of the bezel/display rather than being in contact with it.

This gives the advantage that debrist cannot scratch the display/bezel as you remove the device from the case. Exact opposite for other cases.
