I'm actually thinking of going naked with my iPad 2 when I get it (whenever that is...). I was thinking of an invisishield and maybe a case with a built-in keyboard. That's about it...

Mine's completely unmarked. Having said that, it's always been in a case (and is now in an Otterbox Defender) so I'd be pretty annoyed if it wasn't ;)

Life happens...

Yeah, whatever. It's nice to keep it new as long as possible (and lord knows that I'm one of those people) but LIFE happens. The quicker you realize this and accept whatever happens the sooner it'll stop bothering you.

Flawless. Not a single scratch anywhere to be found. The Anti-Glare screen protector though... lots of scratches. :D

my 16gb wifi is pretty scratched up on the screen and back. still have a buyer set to buy it for 400 on wednesday.

My iPad 2 has no scratches on it at all but a tiny little nick on the inside of the bezel which can only be seen in certain light.

Mine is scratchless both front and back except for the 3G black strip...both corners chipped off and I have no idea how. It has never been dropped and there is no other sign of wear or damage. It's weird and pisses me off because it's going to impact resell value.

That would kill me... I just have some tiny scratches... And my speaker is slightly pushed in from a drop. No big deal:)

still like the day I bought it.

I babied it from day one, but the same as my iPhone4. I got the first Carbon Fiber case that came out before the ipad2 came out. But no screen protectors on them. No scratches at all.

My iPad2 still looks like the day I bought it. No scratches what so ever on the screen or back shell.

I keep my iPad2 naked except for the screen, which has a Zagg InvisibleSheild on it.

I thought my iPad was scratchless, but the other day I noticed a scratch on the screen. It must have been there a long time and I obviously just noticed it, so it hardly bothers me. These things are high quality and stand up very well to everyday use.

All i care obout is the screen really. Scratches on the back, ehh... Scratches on the screen EEEEKKK!!!!

no screen protector, but do have a smart cover on it. The screen has no scratches what so ever. I really didn't want to have to put a screen protector on it, and I was a little concerned, but with nearly 2months use, the screen is as good as day one :D

I've had my IP2 since launch day and its in perfect condition. I use a Bodyguardz clear shield on the back with a Smart Cover on the screen when I travel. Most times though I have the smart cover on the shelf when I am at home using it.

iPad 1 was scratch less until it broke after about 6 or 7 months. Apple replaced it and now my second iPad 1 is also after 8 months. I have it in the black Apple case and pretty much never take it out though I do use it everyday.

i never used a case or something with the original iPad, and one year later it was in mint condition. same to iPad 2, i have 2 months using it totally naked and its perfect, the thing its pretty much scratch resistant. more than i tought.

just be careful about dents. otherwise naked you'll be fine

1st gen ipad, got it about 3 weeks after launch, completely dent free, the only physical blemish is a tiny scratch near the 30 pin connector... i think i have done well... :D

no screen protector or case.

Looks like the day I bought it. I passed on screen protection for the first time and it has been a great decision. I love how smooth it is. I installed a white carbon fiber-like decal more for aesthetic than for protection. I alternate between a Smart Cover and a Dodocase cover.
