Is Your iPhone 6 Defective In Any Way?

Just purchased my iPhone 6 64gb for work phone week 48 build
tested everything no dead/stuck pixel screen is white first phone out the box perfect. lol

I've got the misaligned front facing camera issue. It seems to work ok, though.

Also, my iPhone 6 crashes frequently (I think SpringBoard crashes, as it comes back fairly quickly). I'm not sure if that's a hardware defect, but it's a 128GB model, and maybe it has to do with faulty flash memory. Hoping a software update fixes this, but as of 8.1.2 I'm stilling having the issue.

I'll probably eventually get it replaced for the misaligned camera issue, but not any time soon. It seems like people are getting replacements with defects pretty frequently. I'll wait until next year, when I imagine demand will be much lower and hopefully my chances of getting a working replacement might be higher.

try a hard reset, home and lock button until phone shuts off... that should help...my 6 Plus has TLC nand memory too and its a 64gb model but it very very rarely crashes

The SpringBoard(?) crashes recover quickly and it goes back to normal. I see the Apple logo like it's booting up, but it starts up faster than it would from power on. It's fine until the next time it happens. Maybe it's not the same issue the TLC nand is causing. Dunno.

I know what your talking about, you know whats really strange, that literally only happens to me (springboard crashing and seeing apple logo then going to home screen fast) when i visit this one specific website called gamespot.com, specifically the forums section. 1/2 the time this website causes my 6 Plus to crash and it literally is the only website to do this to my 6 Plus, having it crash to the springboard, it never crashes ever and never ever goes to springboard ever besides only when i visit this website...its weird.

How stiff is your silent switch? Mine is pretty solid when turned on silent, but somehow shaky when set to loud. Luckily not that bad that it would make a rattling noise when shaking the phone.
I have the same thing although in reverse--a little loose when on silent/vibrate, and solid when on sound (and also not enough for it to rattle when the phone shakes).

I replaced my screen on 6+ because of dead pixel and new screen has a tiny piece of dust under front camera lens on the side. Doesn't effect anything? Should I be bothered? Would you be?

The flawless 6+ I purchased is a week 39(October) one assembled within a Foxconn factory.

Any correlations?

Whoa! Hang on... You mean I paid upwards of $1100 and will receive a used unit for their defective unit? That's absurd!

That's not true. It'll be new. They just come in those small white boxes because they don't have accessories and are manufactured to be replacements at the Genius Bar. When the phone gets older. Say middle of next year they might be a remanufactured phone. Which means everything is new other than some internal parts.

Zero defects on my 6+ (week 48 build), making it the fourth iPhone in a row (3G, 4, 5, 6+) I've received from Apple in perfect condition with no defects.

My only complaint is that the vibrating motor is way to loud when I get notifications.

Thats physics buddy ... In basic terms... Thinner , metal, and highly dense device equals more resonance,"... Equals more vibration and sound... Expect the next generations to get much louder if they keep trending on that path!

Dead pixel on my 6+ but I'm going to leave it. It's down the bottom where the dock/keyboard/status bars would normally be and it's so tiny and unnoticeable that I had to really search to find it.

So today I got my replacement iPhone 6 64GB space gray. I sent my other one in for screen uniformity issues. They actually told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it but then they sent me the replacement anyway. Well my replacement has the mis aligned FaceTime camera! My last one didn't! But the screen is better. No more dark splotches across the center of the screen. It's still a bit darker up by the battery indicator (and generally the upper right side) but I'm thinking all lcd's are like this in some corners. No dead pixels either! I'm pretty disappointed in the quality of the iPhone 6 so far. Anyways do you think I should call back right away for the FaceTime camera or wait it out for almost a year then get it replaced? It isn't too bad and it doesnt seem to affect pictures. I don't use it much anyway. Still annoying for something so new. My new replacement phone wasn't new either. It had only 5 cycles on the battery though so I know someone used it before me. What would you guys do?
