Is Your iPhone 6 Defective In Any Way?

All is well after checking pixels, but there is a faint rock when laid flat and pushing two opposing corners. Visually appears straight. Every other thing mentioned in this thread checks out perfectly.

My beloved iPhone 6 Front Camera not centered anymore.
How did this happened Never been dropped or abuse in anyway at all.

Picture please.

First off I'm long time ready of the forums, first time poster. Now for my problem. I got my 6 plus 2 weeks ago and I got the Otterbox Defender the same day. Anyways I got the phone home unboxed it and put it in the Otterbox. I have not removed the phone since today to just make sure there was no dust between the case and phone. As I removed the phone from the case I noticed two Knicks on the bottom of the phone. 1 by the speaker grille, the other on the left side near the corner. Kinda bummed me out when I saw them. Anyways this must be a manufacturing defect if the phone was immediately taken out of its box and put in the Otterbox. Does this sound like something Apple would replace under warranty or should I just forget about it and not even worry?
Again, picture please. To judge what kind of cosmetic damage are we speaking about.

Threads like this are making people search for non existent defects.....

Just sent back my Iphone 6 64gb for 2 cosmetic defects. Firstly, the camera lens had a brown elliptical mark on the top right corner which the top edge of that mark seems like a cut on the glass hence the camera lens is not a perfect circle.

Next, on the edge of the glass screen (the right side), there seems to be an internal chip. Very obvious as I run the light along the side it breaks there with a black spot but it is perfectly smooth to the touch so it has got to be on the inside.

Too bad, all the retailers in my country are sold out on these models and I am waiting for the regional Apple office in Singapore to send one over in 2 weeks time. Really bothers me to not have my phone for that long.

I've had problems with every previous iPhone.

And lots of them.

However, my 6 is perfect.

I actually considered selling it (Space Grey) and rebuying in Silver, but I decided not to because this unit is so perfect.

No dead/stuck pixels.

No backlight bleeding.

No dust under the screen or camera cover.

No scuffs or marks.

Perfect/crystal clear call quality.

And at 128 gigs, it has bundles of storage!

Can't ask for more ...

My silver iPhone 6 64 gig is perfect, apart from loose volume buttons.

It's pretty sad really... I got the 6 because my iPhone 5 had loose volume buttons, and this one, new, right out of the box rattles a bit when I shake it.
99% sure its the top volume button.
Its probably not enough to return it... Even if I'd get a new one I'd be weary thta one also wouldn't be perfect...

I really hope Apple finds a solution for this... Maybe just get rid of all physical buttons?

*Update... when I hold the buttons tightly and shake the iPhone te rattling noise is still there. Therefore I'm thinking its the camera, or maybe de vibration part?

Bought iPhone 6 on december 30. (Space Grey)
After opening a box at home at once i noticed that there's something wrong with text on the back. Yes. It was crooked. I was dissapointed but the google told me it's "ok".
Then i found a stain on the back panel near apple logo. Tryin' to wipe it out with no luck.
The screen was ok instead of a bottom - it was lighter than hole screen.

So i took it to the service and after 2 weeks got a new one.

And again..

Got 2 cosmetic defects:
*stain on the screen and *some metal defect where glass meets body part (some black rust)
Also mute button was really loose.
So i should wait another 2 weeks and wondering a flawless iPhone. (seems it's impossible to get one with 30% of waste)

P.S. According to http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html first copy was made on november and the second one on august 2014.

It could be the camera lens. I had a similar rattling on the 5S and definitely it wasn't any button. I could reproduce it basically on every 5S I tried.
Now my 6 doesn't rattle.
Btw no reason to shake a phone :D

Only issue with my iPhone 6 64 is after having the phone since September 29th, I noticed the front camera was off center and I had what I thought was some fine scratches under the top of the screen. I took it to the Apple Store yesterday and they replaced the screen and all is good..

Did you install any apps? Mine was doing that but that was because I was synching stuff (apps, music, movies) from my itunes to my phone. Pretty normal I say.

If you aren't installing anything and it's warm then it's something to be concerned about.

Yeah, I was restoring from backup.

It's normal if it gets warm while restoring from a backup. I had an iPhone 6 that was hot right out of the box without having installed any apps. I had to return it. Just monitor it for a couple of days.
