The thing I miss is a history graph of memory use. And the CPU history graph is now wider than it used to be, taking up more space.

Yes - at least for me. The old app (iState Menus 6) is still in the Applications folder, open it and it will install itself. Not 100% sure about settings, a couple of things had to be reset on mine.Quick question. I made the mistake of agreeing to upgrade from verions 6 to version 7. Is there any way to roll this back, downgrade to 6 and have my previous settings restored?
Ditto for most of this. If it weren't for the circle graphs I'd have kept v7 installed and upgraded - but even though I like a lot of the v7 aesthetics I reverted back to v6 after about an hour. The circle graphs are just far too hard to visually process (and should have been a configurable option).I upgraded almost right away when I came across this thread the other day. I think it I have it pretty much set-up the way I want given current options. I'll be a bit less dramatic about it, but I agree the circle graphs aren't my favorite thing; I'd appreciate having the option to have bar graphs throughout. Regardless, iStat Menus is always one of the first apps I install.
Aside from the circles, another deal breaker for me is the mysterious disappearance of history graphs for a few items that were there in v6 but not in v7, especially battery history.Ditto for most of this. As mentioned by Nicho, the menu bar hisotry graphs can be set to a wide range of widths. Please click on the items to reveal more options. The thing I miss is a history graph of memory use. And the CPU history graph is now wider than it used to be, taking up more space.
Settings should be kept. And yep, we intentionally left version 6 around to make it easy to go back, for people who want to.Yes - at least for me. Battery history was added in 7.02! More good stuff is coming.Aside from the circles, another deal breaker for me is the mysterious disappearance of history graphs for a few items that were there in v6 but not in v7, especially battery history.
Thank you! And yep, we can. We’re listening and we’ll make changes and add features as needed.I did purchase a v7 family license as a matter of supporting the devs though. But for now only installing v7 on one personal MacBook meant for testing, while the rest of my other Macs stay at v6. I hope a few revisions down the road they can roll back or add back some features / UI elements.
Oh thank you for putting it back! I frequently have to look at battery history to judge when to charge my MacBook and if bringing a charger is needed for given workflow. Was frustrated to not see it in v7 at first but now it's all good.Battery history was added in 7.02! More good stuff is coming.

It's a known bug (already reported@Bjango i just upgraded to 7.02 and i no longer have the option to add my AirPods / AirPods Max battery status to the menubar. "Items in Menu Bar" now only shows internal, was able to have AirPods and other accessories with v.6. Is this a known issue or am I missing something?
I don’t think that is possible with iStat Menus 6 or iStat Menus 7. It’s been a while since I’ve run iStat Menus 6 though. Did you have it set up to show swap in your menu bar previously?Does anyone know if it's possible to show only the swap memory in the menubar? I'd really just like to know when my Mac is/isn't using swap, more so than the actual amount. Thanks in advance!
Thanks! We’re on it!I recently realised that the fan control isn't working with Sequoia 15.1.
(I've already sent in a report with the logs)

I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a really sad feature change but after updating I am no longer able to see the day and month in the clock setting. it only shows "clock". which because you cannot turn off the default mac OS time just gives me double information i don't need. Thanks for the bug reports! We really appreciate them, and they help make iStat Menus better for everyone. If you do spot issues with Bluetooth devices not showing battery values, sending us logs may help. This can be done by choosing Diagnostics › Send Log Files from within iStat Menus.
The menu bar clock format is even more customisable in iStat Menus 7 than it was in iStat Menus 6, but I think we’ve made the UI a little more difficult to use. Here’s some info on how to customise the menu bar clock, and the steps needed to do so: https://bjango.com/help/istatmenus7/menubarclock/I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a really sad feature change but after updating I am no longer able to see the day and month in the clock setting. it only shows "clock". which because you cannot turn off the default mac OS time just gives me double information i don't need.
I had it set to just show the day/month/date all the way to the right and then the time would come from that unremovable mac os clock.
It also had a great way to check the calendar from there by just clicking the icon but that's not made into many more clicks.
Is there any way to get that functionality back? it may sound small but that is like 80% of the reason i installed istat![]()
Speaking of UI issues in 7, I can no longer get rid of the decimal point when selecting Mbps in the networking. Menu bar space is at a premium on MacBook Pros with a notch and in v6 I could remove the decimal point and just have Mbps as a whole number. Any chance this could be re-added? Thank you very much!Hi,
Out of curiosity, I tried it after reading your post, there are 2 places to set as follows ... by the way, thanks for helping me save some space on my Menu Bar

I still can't get it to reliably see my 3rd party mice and keyboards. Even Logitech MX doesn't show up, not some no name brand. I think iStat Menus v6 had no such problems at all. With version 7.01 they had solved the battery status displayed for AirPods (all versions), now with 7.02 it broke again. It's horrible to pay for a new version and have things not work
