They don't have to be legal ;), the tag info just has to match whatever sort of database or whatever that Apple has.

BTW I've found that iT7 finds more album art than what they they have in the music store. I thought it was limited to what they had, but it finds art for albums that they don't sell. Maybe I'm the only one who didn't realize this. :)

If iTunes music store does not have it they don't get the art. Period. I've tried it. It will not retrieve artwork it doesn't have. Check again.

For everyone that was asking about checking iTunes Library thing... this was introduced in iTunes 7.0, and, as far as I can tell, merely checks the library for corruption should iTunes unexpectedly quit (or be forced to quit). It's happened to me several times before, and always when iTunes had crashed or locked up.

i am quite pleased with the fact that i can now browse my library without frustration.

now, they just need to get more album covers on. people should be able to submit

they put back the feature so you can maximize itunes from the keyboard that was driving me mad command+option+1
in itunes 6 it used to just be command +1
Yeah, I hate that so much too!! I used to use that all the time! And command+2 for visualiser! Its gonna take a while for the new shortcut to grow on me... Why the heck cant they just bring back command+1?!

Wow. Thanks. I just right clicked now and said download album art and wow. very nice. The view with the album art is awesome. Sweet.

Has anyone else had this problem?

When im surfing the net or in another application besides iTunes, and a video starts to play (because it was in the playlist) sometimes the video will start playing full screen, regardless of whether im in iTunes. Also, when im in iTunes, the reverse will happen. Before 7.0, videos would automatically play full screen if you were in iTunes, but not if you werent.

Its hard to explain i know, so sorry if I completely confused people.

Thank goodness that they do this now because I've had many issues with my iTunes library becoming corrupt and losing all the data that I had.

Most likely just keeping video viewing size hot-keys standard with Quicktime.

Although, I wonder if we can expect other applications to follow suit with window selection by adding +option+ in Leopard. For example iChat: command+option+1 = Buddy List and command+option+2 = bonjour.

I'm sure a developer with Leopard could comment on it's current status.

art and drm

It will search all music stores GLOBALLY... which there are a lot of artists in other international music stores that aren't on the US store...

does anyone know if you can still burn a cd and reimport to remove the drm?
would like to see if it's still possible before I update:cool:

OK I'll give you that. But if the song is not on any iTunes music store you cannot retrieve the art work through iTunes. And yes you can delete an iTunes protected song(still) and reimport it to get rid of the copy protection.

I don't see how they could prevent you from doing that. Once its in the Redbook CD format there is no drm. How would iTunes know what you are importing? It would just think its a cd you bought.

Oh good, iTunes 7.0.2 I am thrilled!

I just got my iTunes library restored from backup after the iTunes 7.0.1 fiasco....Looking forward to this upgrade, yes sirree!

What scrollbar problem?

I think the jump to issue if you click inside of the scroller tab. It only affects folks that use "jump to here" scrolling mode that you can set in the Appearance system preferences panel.

...yup the issue still exits. Clicking in the scoller tab shouldn't cause the "jump to" action but should only scroll if you move the tab. You can see the difference if you use any standard Cocoa application (Safari for example).

They STILL have not fixed the scrollbar problem!

Haha, at first I thought he meant the "problem" with the scrollbars being that weird bland shade of blue rather than the aqua blue. :p
woohoo, first time I used multi-quote. :D
