It's a test tone. It's used to set audio levels. The actual audio comes in about half way through the stream.

It looks like they've used the WWDC keynote as a test video.

God know's they'd have plenty of bandwidth atm if they're about to released movies.

I dont think it will be live. Its probably just a place holder for when it is uploaded as usual.

So it starts at 19:00 hours in the netherlands..
relay it to your own timezone

Ipod lead times

So IF Apples announces a new ipod today, how quickly will it it be at local stores versus Apple.com? The last time I could order from Apple really quick, but I have $200 in best buy money that sure would be nice to use if I didn't have to wait an extra couple weeks...
 
How can I see all 500 posts at once or condensed into a tight little summary. And how can I see if as I'm typing something someone already has typed that and safari will inform me that on pae 12 joeshmow already brought that up!!!

I want this implemented in all forum software and safari now!!! Is this a part of web 2.0???

Normally I would agree but streams are usually put up a few hours after the keynote.This one is already set-up with an audio test signal.

I hope that this movie store will be as successful as the music store; I wouldn't want Apple to be in trouble.

It just seems as though they are going to have to provide a large amount of bandwidth, and I'm not so sure how easy this will be on today's technology.

I totally agree and I hate the hypocracy and crassness of Bono to be totally anti industrial and anti capitalism yet put his name on and make a big fat profit out of an iPod, the irony. And I used to have respect for U2......

And all you who hates U2 check out Maddox it brings up some nice points.


Personally I think Apple should bring out a iPod Paris Hilton version, think of it....

It's very cheap, can easily be turned on and doesn't have much information in it.... You could even download the "video clip" (I don't know why because it's crappier than Pam and Tommy's tape).

Apple I think we have a winner.
