I decided not to hold off any longer on disputing the charge with my credit card company. Will be sending them additional paperwork in the morning so hopefully this goes off without a hitch.

From the Ivyskin website:

When will the case start shipping? I ordered mine last week and haven't heard back about shipping.

Starting Friday July 16th. You will receive the notification email along with the delivery confirmation and tracking details from the 16-20 of July.

Betcha they start shipping this week. They probably just got them in.

If they did just get them in their whole house of cards will come down when all of our shipping status suddenly changes. :)

Yea, and they will say you should have them in a couple days and that we really have nothing to complain about.

If you REALLY think about it, it's only been a week since they were ALLEGEDLY shipped and whether they lied about it or not if they get it out in the next day or so it really wasn't that terrible. That's what PayPal will say without a doubt. What pisses me off are the blatant lies and BS.

Everyone should file a complaint with the BBB because they must respond to them or their BBB rating goes down. If there are enough complaints at least we can screw up their BBB rating for being the liars that they are.

These are more than likely the same friggin' $4 clear cases being sold on eBay anyway.

I also ordered this case, got a shipping confirmation email, and also have not received my case yet...BUT, I think you all are overlooking something pretty important here. As a warehouse/shipping manager who offers USPS, and more specifically - first class mail, as a shipping option on my companies website I am fully aware that USPS FIRST CLASS MAIL OFFERS NO TRACKING INFORMATION!!! Also, first class mail usually arrives in 8-10 business days but DOES NOT have a guaranteed date of delivery.

That is why USPS FCM is so cheap...now you know

Usps has a tracking info. I've used usps a lot of times. I bet you ivyskin is a fawking fraud. They copied the belkin case. Same picture!!!!

You're right, USPS does have tracking...on priority mail, express mail, apo/fpo, etc. But NOT on FIRST CLASS MAIL. Trust me, it's my job to know this...

The only thing FIRST CLASS MAIL offers is "delivery confirmation", which means when you enter the tracking number at USPS.com, your status won't change until the package is delivered.

I ordered an Ivyskin Reception case on 7/7 and canceled it on 7/14. I still have not seen a refund to my PayPal account. I have disputed the charge.

No one should buy any product from these crooks. I know I will never buy from them again and I will recommend against them every chance I get!

S-

Ok let's forget about the tracking confirmation, so the email I got from Ivyskin saying that my order has shipped on 7/20/2010 using USPS First Class. When should I assume my order should arrive? Don't you think it should have arrived by now? As of this date 7/27/2010, 7 days from the email Ivyskin sent to me notifying me of my order being shipped, I have not received my order! What does that tell you?:mad::mad::rolleyes:

I have not cancelled my order, I wanted to see how long this charade will last. I have Paypal to hopefully back me up if I do decide to cancel later on. I'll keep you guys posted.

At this rate, hopefully by the Jewish New Year.

Christ.

Personally I just think them updating their site is just asking for more time

their probably waiting on a shipment right now :mad:

I filed a PayPal complaint late yesterday afternoon. Evidently they must be getting a lot of complaints. It didn't take them long to determine IvySkin was faking their shipping. Email dated today 7:02 AM from PayPal:

We have concluded our investigation into your claim.

Seller's Name: ivyskin LLC
Seller's Email: admin@ivyskin.com
Seller's Transaction ID: 2D476459Rxxxxxxx

Transaction Date: Jul 12, 2010
Transaction Amount: -$21.99 USD
Invoice ID: 00002xxxxxx
Your Transaction ID: 1J0320281xxxxxxx
Case Number: PP-001-029-xxxxxxxx

Buyer's Transaction ID: 1J032028xxxxx

You have received a refund via PayPal in the amount of $21.99 USD.

A note for IVYSKIN (I am sure you are reading this thread):
It was ONLY $21.99. I piss away 3x that on any given day. Had you simply been honest and upfront with your customers (well, me at least, I can't speak for others) and said there was a delay due to shipment or whatever I would have gladly waited. Because of the fact you were so underhanded about this and your customer service was so poor you lost customers and any good reputation you may have had.

Information provided by the postal service shows that the item is still in transit. Once the package is delivered, we will review this case and make a decision.

Here is the shipping notice for the very similar case that I bought off of Ebay on Saturday. It is coming out First Class and has been tracking along the way.

Maybe PayPal doesn't trust the Brits. <cough>BP<cough> :D Seriously though, since it is an international shipment they are going to make you wait a much longer time since I'm sure it was (not) sent via slow boat.

The shipping notification along with tracking details for orders received after July 23rd will go out on July 30th due to unprecedented response to our new Reception case. All new orders after that date will be processed on or after July 30th, 2010.

Funny they still list them as in stock

I sent them a similar email yesterday. Essentially telling them that if they just tell the truth, I will keep my order, send me a copy and paste of lies and I backcharge with Amex. Not heard back yet. Oh, and the more backcharges they have also hurts them with the credit card issuers. They will jack their rates up.

Funny, these guys make Element Case look like the best communicator ever!
