Ivyskin Reception Case - shipping confirmation?

I submitted a cancellation request this morning via their website form....no response yet.
Read through a page or two of this thread and you'll realize that prompt responses aren't their thing
Well, for me, I like my phone naked. Now, there are some times, when a case would be a good thing, but I want something as thin as possible and so far, this case seems like it is the thinnest you can get and hte price is reasonable. If they would just come clean.
On the other hand, the fact that I had this case coming (in theory) made me decide to get a bumper from Apple for my free case. If I had not ordered this, I would have probably gotten the similar case they were offering through th efree case program, so that pisses me off that they were able to use their little ruse and cause me to screw myself, but hey its onyl $20 shipped, so not a huge deal in the big scheme of things.

It looks exactly the same...strange.
But I went with the Incase snap clear. iLounge said that Belkin was known for making some crappy cases, didn't want to get stuck with something cheap.
It is exactly the same, if you compare the picture on belkin and the one on Ivyscam even the shadows are in the same place! It's the same pic except Belkin edited out

Wow where was this thread 3 days ago? I ordered two of these cases on Monday and thought it was strange that I haven't received tracking info yet. I been searching for reviews all over the web including youtube and then I stumbled on this forum. I sent them an email not expecting a response but surprisingly I received one this morning.

I've been looking for a thin case for a while now since my plan to keep my ip4 naked didn't go so well when I dropped it for the first time a few days ago. I'd also suggest someone post a video on youtube explaining this fiasco since I'm sure there are plenty of people out there trying to find a review or a video of how this case looks up close.

I selected the Belkin micra case from the apple case program . Apple sent me an email confirmation that case will ship on Sep 21st and arrive on Sep 23rd . That is after full 2 months
I dont know about all of you all, but it doesnt look like complaining to ivyskin, bbb, or even on this forum is getting us anywhere. I think its time to take action.
I suggest we all band together and help spread the word about how terrible ivyskins service is.

Do not purchase anything from ivyskin. This company is full of lies and are scamming its customers. Their new iphone 4 reception case that was suppose to initially be shipped weeks ago, has yet to be shipped. Ivyskin claims that the cases have shipped but according to the shipping company, in reality the products havent been shipped at all and are putting its customers in loops for weeks.
Please spread the word by coping and pasting this message anywhere you can. "

I think I'm going that route too when they're eventually released; none of the clear cases out now are really doing it for me. The Switcheasy is close, but I don't like how it doesn't extend above the front glass.
In the meantime my case mate tough case came in today; it's not as hideous as I thought it was going to be (bought it mostly for the drop protection). Should hold me over until I find a good clear case. I've returned my white Griffin Reveal; after using it a couple of weeks the band gets dirty and is impossible to clean. What are you guys using in the meantime? Going nekked?
BTW I checked my bank just now (24 hrs after the "Refund Confirmation"), surprise surprise, no refund. Ivyscam keepin up the status quo.

That's an absolutely horrid cut for the back camera & flash. Hopefully the actual case is better than that. Post up some pics whenever you get it
The cutout (and the photo) on the eBay item

Besides, for $6.50 it's a no lose until my free Belkin shows up from Apple. I have little doubt that ALL these cases come from the same place in China, cost the sellers/dealers about 50cents each in large quantities and the only difference among them is the packaging (IvySCAM includes front and back protectors) & advertising and who sells them.
They are nothing but 1/2 ounce of plastic put into a mold and once the mold is chugging away making product the cost is pennies. Besides, how long have you been waiting for your IvySCAM case? Betcha I have this by Tuesday or Wednesday.
My concern is whether that is an actual image of the case I am going to get and frankly I don't care about or have much use for the flash. At this point I just want a clear case.

I don't doubt that they all come from the same place in China or wherever. But like you said my main concern would be whether that's an actual image of the case. If the actual case has the back cutout that off-center to compensate for the flash, it just seems ridiculous. Likewise all I really want is a clear case but if it looks bad I'm not going to throw money at it, even if it is just $5-6 dollars.
EDIT: I'm no longer waiting for this case, I took it up with my credit card company and already got the charge reversed. What I ended up doing was just ordering another cheap case that I might have by Saturday and it will serve the overriding goal of just protecting the phone until the custom one I ordered arrives.
