Ivyskin Reception Case - shipping confirmation?

They did not handle this well and should come out and do some serious damage control.

I told them to do just that. I even gave them a link to this very thread. Their response? They took it as a threat and an attempt to intimidate and refunded my money. These guys are clueless. It would be so simple for them to post an explanation on their website, but they've clearly started to believe their own lies. How can so many people have tracking numbers yet not one of us has received the case?

The magic dates for me are tomorrow and Monday - those are the days I was told I should have the case by (at least I think that's what they said since they changed their story so many times). It does not take 7+ days to get a package from one coast of the US to the other and these guys told me they ship from the West Coast and New York. While logic would dictate that they would ship from wherever is closer to you, these guys are incapable of logical thought. Assuming they shipped from the "wrong" place for every single one of us, many of us still should have received our cases by now. Tracking information hasn't changed once in well over a week and that tells me that the packages haven't actually been mailed. Yet they say that a tracking number means the package has been shipped. So we either believe that the USPS is completely inept and incapable of delivering even one of these cases in a timely manner or we believe that Ivyskin is lying. I choose to believe the latter.

Even if my case comes by Monday, these guys are on my ***** list for sure.

Well they have told me this

Since you filed a dispute with PayPal, it is under review with them!
We've authorize a refund and the rest is on PayPal to release the fund to your account.

Let me know if you need any other assistance and I do apologize for this delay once again.

So, the mail just came and look what I have. An iPhone 4 case.






Too bad it's the free bumper that apple said would ship in September. See, Ivyskin, that's how you do it. Promise worst case and beat it, not the other way around.

Nope, and I'm not holding my breath either. For what it's worth I originally asked for and received my first "confirmation" of a refund way back on the 16th. The rescue boat ain't comin' folks.

The camera cutout on the back looks ugly though. Their office looks like is on Hong Kong and Japan. I would be wary ordering from them.

I got a notification on July 28, 2010 from Google Checkout and the credit posted the same day to my credit card.

I did manage to speak to an Ivyskin representative live on the phone a few weeks ago. I believe they are shipping from their office in NJ. I could hear what sounded like a label printer in the background. They canceled my order after I continually bitched to them about their continued shipping delays and for taking my money on day 1. Of course it took 7 business days to get the refund...but at least I got my $ back.

Glad you got your money back. I got my refund notification email on the 28th but still have not seen the credit posted back to my AMEX. Got my mail today and still no case. These guys are flat-out crooks - no other way to say it.
