c'mon guys be realistic.

there's probably not a soul left on earth that doesn't already have a usb charger lying around. the only ones not already owning a smartphone (plus charger), just don't have the money to buy an iphone.

plus they are sold almost fully charged.
so everyone saying you can't use them, when there's no charger in the box is just plain wrong.

iphone 13 doesn’t include box response will be: c’mon guys the box is a huge waste.

iPhone 14 doesn’t include a hole to even charge device: c’’mon guys we use wireless charging all the time.

iPhone 15 doesn’t include iOS Updates: c’mon guys it’s only $12 a year subscription. that’s cheaper than a meal for one.

Notice the Apple customer rationale?

yeah , but not everyone has the 11 pro with lightning to usb-c cable, so they have to buy the new charging brick since the 12 comes with lightning to usb-c

Ive defended apple in the past. I didn't think getting rid of the headphone jack was a mistake. I didn't think not including EarPods was a mistake either.

But this is a mistake. No matter what rationale they use its nothing other than pure greed and the backfire they get from everyone including the media will be huge. Just not worth it.
It will get backlash but people will soon forget about it...

Didn't this same rumour begin last year too? And probably the year before?

If they leave out the charger, they'll drop the price of the phone and make it back with a charger purchase.

This is a psychological problem. When people have to buy accessories, they usually see it as a negative, because it is costing them more money. But if the accessories were included but the price was slightly higher (but they didn't know about it) it is more tolerable. For eg: I tell Customer A the phone is $1000, charger is an extra $50. She gets pissed. I tell person B the phone is $1050, including charger. He is happy.

Even if Apple did have a kind heart and priced the phone $50 less than what they would have set the price at to include the accessories, people would still be butt-hurt.

Personally, I'm not bothered by it. I have enough chargers and have never used a pair of apple earbuds in my life, so it is wasteful.

Say thank you to the EU - they‘re forcing Apple to ship their mobile phones with universal chargers. As they‘re refusing, leaving away the charger altogether is a perfect way (for them) to prevent the EU from going after them

Since when are iPhone coming without a universal charger? AFAIK, iPhone chargers come with a USB port. But in either way, reducing e-waste is a good thing.

Excellent supporting argument. /s obviously
There’s no argument to be had. Not including a charger is stupid. Rationalizing it is even more stupid.

Is this all you're gonna say? You sound like those folks on Twitter who don't accept any opinion but those in their echo chamber.
Then don’t respond.

Then don’t respond.

If you truly think it's stupidity you have so much to learn about business.
