I don't care I want an orange shuffle or nano!
I have a red shuffle which absolutely rocks, but orange is sweet.

The light reflection also looks PS'd. Far too in-focus, where the whole of the picture is out of focus.
I don't think the image is fake, I just can't see this as an Apple product. I'd say that if someone wanted to fake the image with compositing software they would have blurred all the reflections to try to make it all look okay on superficial inspection. The reflections that are 'sharp' are likely just blown highlights.

Newton? dude this is 2008 that was 1993.
The Newton 2100 was discontinued in February 1998.

And it still does many things that the iPod Touch cannot do as of yet.

For example:
- Cut/Copy and Paste. :p
- Handwriting recognition.
- Microphone for recording.
- Speaker for audio playback.
- Ability to connect to an external keyboard.
- Built in screen protector.
- Ability to share data stores for use by all applications.

I could go on, but you get the point.

The iPod Touch is a wonderful device no doubt about it. However, it still cannot do things that the Newton could do and yet the Newton was discontinued over 10 years ago.

The one on the left couldn't look more fake. The screen edges are a giveaway. And there's the older USB cable.

First of all, the lawyers can't do anything since the picture is not Apple property. The 3G Nano pictures were off a Apple computer from the headquarters and someone took a picture of it, so the lawyers had the right to do something about it. With the new Apple keyboard, the lawyers couldn't do anything because someone took the picture probably off the Apple campus and the picture was not Apple property, it was just simply a pic of their product, not from a computer or anything.

there we go, the packaging, the materials in package, this is the new iPod nano. it apparently went through a few revisions, as the appearance of the orange one seems a bit different than the green one.

Except the unboxing photo is fake. Look at the universal dock thing, it is the style of the 2G Nano. The Nano has a more oval shape to it, so this is fake. Doesn't anyone see this???

and the middle button of the click wheel is indented in the one on the left and isnt on the right :apple:

Once again, Apple has reinvented the ... Zune 4G?!?

But I like it — especially compared to the current iPod nano. Although every tech journalist in existence is going to hound on the fact that it looks just like the Zune 4G, over and over again.

Because it does look like a Zune. Just accept it and move on.;)

how can this reflection be?

Don't know if your being sarcastic but that apple logo you have circled is ON the packing, behind the plastic casing. "They" wouldn't photoshop that when you can just print out the documents or use some old ones. :)

It's pretty much certain that that is the new shape of the new nano.

The green one is a early proto.

If anyone can come up with a new shape that is like a square or rectangle? We have had a fat square nano, a long rectangle nano, and now another one? when will apple invent a new shape?

I personally think the nonagon would be perfect. the new nano nonagon.

Hey why not? A circular iPod which is convex on both sides. The motto: "Rock 'n Roll" Rock it on the convex sides and roll it along its egde. Pure genius!

Yeah, then the fanboys could claim apple invented that too, just like they did with the click wheel:

Hm, I would have thought that the cord to sync the iPod would be like the one that came with my touch. The smaller one. Why would they use this when they have the smaller one available?
