More likely they'll discontinue the iMac and offer two options of desktop , especially in this economic climate people won't want to pay out for a screen they already own.

ForeverI dont understand why apple would put 2 video connectors... They are all about 1 port and adapters. I think it is fake, they arent over the top with USB and dont think the mini would have firewire if the macbook doesnt even have it.
ur guy's tech savy is incredible! I saw the photo and got excited. Then I saw everyone was calling it a fake, so I got bummed. Then I saw the video and got even more excited, but still people are calling it a fake. HOW DO YOU KNOW? This is like a roller coaster ride for me. I feel bipolar.

Regardless of fake or otherwise, if they release it with no standard video connectors on it, other than their proprietary mini-DVI and/or mini-DP connectors, then I'm going to be very unimpressed unless they actually bundle an adaptor with it, which isn't Apple's style, so I doubt it.
I'm annoyed enough at having to replace one non-standard mini-dvi to DVI adaptor for another non-standard mini-DP to DVI adaptor just so I can plug my macbook into a monitor. Just use HDMI FFS.
Or, failing that, maybe they'll stop charging so much for a simple direct-wire adaptor. (Yeah, right...)
Maybe a dramatic price-drop? Say $499 for the base model?

Video increases the possibility of it being real, but I'm still kinda in the middle. Going towards the "real" side though.
I think the current Mac Mini comes with a Mini-DVI to VGA adapter included in the box? I'd imagine Apple will continue that trend...or give us a Mini-DP to VGA adapter in the box?

I think a HDMI port would of been good move, imo , and what is the main purpose on an mac mini for people, boosted up AppleTV type thing? Hmmm, okay so another USB (not greatest of idea) But the thing that worries me are the specs of the given macmini

Cant you get this now already in shops??? Really doesnt seem like we're moving forwards, i do hope that perhaps the shell is a new model and they will upgrade the processors. An high def player? Think theres defo room for more imporovement, we'll see what unfolds over the next few months.

They already include DVI to VGA I believe, so why not all this new stuff? The mini display is supported by ONE display so why not just send the mini dvi ones since they're for reasons beyond me cheaper than the mini display? I know it goes against all the simplicity but that's the only thing I can think of. Same goes for firewire, maybe they messed up...

Absolutely - which just goes to show how many people are looking forward to a new mini. All the "it's photoshopped" arguments look a little silly in the light of the video though
(of course the thing itself may be a mock-up, a fake, or a prototype, but it clearly exists as a physical object!)
