I would disagree with that because not all use cases are the same, and fast charging is really handy. Especially if I've depleted a good chunk of my battery when e.g. traveling and taking plenty of photos and videos, using navigation etc.
On my end, I could certainly live without Qi charging.
I couldn’t live without Qi now, that is my primary and only way or charging my phone.
I am XS 256gb owner and I will update immediately because of 12 mini... I do not care about other things, just want a smaller phone in my pocket...
That's totally fair. My needs are not your needs, and good product design takes that into account (within certain constraints).
A notchless 12 mini with ProMotion would be the dream phone, I'd also trade in my 11 Pro for one. Alas..
What kind of argument is that? Then case producers will just adapt and make different cases? What happens when the camera bump changes or other things around the phone? They make the cases different to fit the needs.
True. Given the design overhaul, existing cases wouldn't be compatible with the new phones anyways.
No 120 hz screen, 64 gb base storage, no fast charger in the box, no usb c, you gotta try harder apple. If the 6.1" 128 gb iphone 12 costs more than 800 eur, than sorry apple, see you next year
And you realize that just now? It has been the same for years. Smartphones are perfekt already. There is nothing to improve except those three topics. Even cpu Upgrades are welcome but not needed.

iPhone 12 will continue the tremendous success story of iPhone. What do you want it to do beyond what it's already doing? Make your bed in the morning?
The fact that Apple continues to make improvements, such as faster Face ID, it worth it in itself. Face ID is not slow right now, so for them to improve upon something that doesn't need any improvement just goes to show you the investment that they are making.
And we don't know if iPhone 12 won't feature the new Touch ID sense in the "top button". It very well may now that it exists in that form factor.
And yes, flag edges are a huge deal. We've been waiting for that for a few years, and Apple is finally delivering! Thanks for listening Apple!
And people moaning will still buy it or stick with their current iphone.
The features some want are on some great android phones...i know most can’t or won’t do it but have a sample of both android and iphone and you won’t be disappointed then.
Be nice to have but i don’t use it at all on my fold 2. Just a nice thing to mention on the spec sheet really.

So I guess any case would have to have a cutout around the power button so the user could access it with their finger. I don't see this happening. The buttons on iPhones are very short and unobtrusive. Any thin case makes them almost disappear. Any thicker case that gives good protection has the buttons covered.
You can only speak for yourself. Some folks who have an iPhone 11, are claiming to upgrade.
To be honest, with everything going on in the world, it's hard for me to be excited about this stuff. Just me, but my concerns are elsewhere.
Those are iToy fanboys who are psychologically brainwashed to own the latest for mental relief.
According to research, the majority upgrade once every 3-4 years.
Also, the majority of Apple users are not on MacRumors!

i don't think even one hour less than the 11 is bad news. The 11 has stellar battery
6.1 non-Pro 64GB will cost $799, which equals €919 in Apple terms. The 128GB will cost 989.
It’s not your choice wether we upgrade this year or not. I have an XS Max that I gladly am upgrading this year to the 12 Pro Max. It’s our money so we can do whatever we choose with it. Until someone pays my bills then they have no say so on how I choose to spend my money.
