Lol I do that now. While walking around my house I’ll just hold my phone. 😁 Day 7 and the ends/sides are starting to darken a bit.

Very nice! I have some slight coloring around the bottom sides of the case but nothing major yet. I’m excited for it lol.
Lol me too. I’m kind of worried when the 12 gets released. If Apple releases an office saddle brown case for the 5.4” 12, I may pick one up and start all over again. 😬

Just a thought. I heard rumors that the new 12 pro will be a 6.1in display (along with others) Does that mean we could possibly use the case from the 12 on the current 11’s? (Non pro). My other thought is there could be issues with the case fitting a round phone if the 12’s are more square edged
I used my red case for a couple of months and it started to patina.

It looks ok from afar.. lol. But, up close it has black spots around the corners and sides. It doesn’t look to bad, but it definitely looks different.

Definitely not the first time I’ve heard that. I don’t suppose you’re anywhere near an Apple Store? You can just go ahead and order one online and if you don’t like it go exchange it.

This actually looks nice! I have a red iPhone 8 Plus leather case. Since I can’t use it I’m not sure how I would like the patina on the red.
Can’t bring myself to rock red-green, so I bought saddle brown. Arrives tomorrow 🥳 Will post pics of my October-vintage forest green which has a nice patina although totally subtle and unnoticeable except in strong sunlight.

I couldn’t get myself to rock red with green either. Which is one of the reasons why regret getting the midnight green iPhone because I love the red leather, but my current favorite is Saddle Brown and the Forest Green for the texture on the leather
yeah just keep using it, the big bonus of Apple using real leather is that it will heal over time from the oils in your hand. Don't stop!
I've had my Saddle Brown for a few months now but its starting to get kind of tacky/sticky on the back. Has anyone used anything like Leather Milk to restore the softness of the leather?
Been using a saddle brown pretty much since launch. Not liking it to be honest - just looks dirty to me! Think I'll go with silicone next time around.
