However, I personally still feel that Apple really dropped the ball on leather cases for the 11 Pro, maybe Corona had something to do with it - It’s in my opinion disappointing that the standard leather cases for the 11 Pro never got refreshed with newer colours, and having seen the Deep Sea Blue colour, on the Leather Folio, in person, it is 100% a clone of the standard Midnight Blue.

I agree Apple should have done a refresh on colors I wonder if they’ll have better options for the 12 models
 
Is it just me or does the black leather case have the best grip? My 2 month old saddle brown is still somewhat slippery compared to my black leather case.

The saddle brown for my se is finally starting to get a little more grippy and slightly starting to patina.

I’m hoping Apple makes an official saddle brown for the 5.4” 12. If not, I’ll just hold off on the new 12 since I just got the se and I still have my 11 pro. I may give the new pixel 4a a shot in the meantime.

I can’t seem to get the lighting perfect. The case is actually a bit more honey colored than the pictures show. These were taken with my 11 pro.

Edit: I forgot just how nice the 11 pro looks and I didn’t realize the patina that has developed compared to my se case. Post edited to include pics of both.

From left to right: Mujjo tan leather for my iPhone 6S work phone (mid December 2019), Mujjo tan leather personal iPhone XR (January 2019), wife’s Mujjo aquamarine blue leather case (October 2019). The blue is slightly greener in real life. All cases have taken the odd drop, and protected the phones well :)

Yesterday I picked up a black leather folio case just because of the price. It was for €13.90 (around $16). They were at a discount because you cannot buy iPhone X anymore, so good deal for me. And the other picture is product red leather case after 2 weeks of daily usage.

Yeah it's looking better and better as time goes by. Also this case saved my phone from catastrophe, it fell on my concrete driveway right on the corner. Not a scratch or any damage on the phone just a gash on the case :)

With a closed bottom and asymmetrical cutouts and I’d be thrilled.
 
It’s so hard to choose which case is better. This Bullstrap or the apple leather saddle brown. The Bullstrap’s buttons kind of wobble around somewhat loose but has a nicer leather. The Apple leather has rock solid buttons compared to the Bullstrap. Idk

That’s is a hard choice. I liked the Bullstrap cases I have for my xr when I had it. The buttons were decent and their customer service was always awesome. I do like how their leather appears to look more natural.
 
I feel like I've heard it talked about, but am I mistaken or are the relatively new iPhone model saddle brown cases not patina'ing in the same classic way as older ones?
