Ahh thats fairly easy to do l guess, thanks for the insight!
Thank you so much! All I ever do is clean it with a damp cloth with soap whenever I comeback from being out, haven’t done any real “leather maintenance” to it.

bullstrap getting a little darker after some use.

Bullstrap is the case I'm using right now. The Grams28 case - somehow I cut it so it pealed ... really bad on one corner (I'm sure it was my fault) but that leather was kinda thin. Wasn't a fan of the logo'ing either.

Bullstrap leather case definitely reminds me of the old Sena cases with heavy duty leather - took longer to patina but it's happening.

I still think that the Burkley - now BlackBrook case is my favorite leather case - but it's hefty. https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/apple-leather-cases-patina-proud-photos.2091430/post-29371283

Apple solution is nicer, so maybe bullstrap did something wrong with the design of the case? 🤷
You're right..why should blame apple design..case developer should be more creative to design difficult part at the camera bump..

Complain to apple, not bullstrap. They are working with whats given to them.
Woowww..that is extra demand.apple should follow bullcrap design ..????? In your dream.. Case developer have to follow apple iphone design..that is the correct one..

I think I prefer Bullstrap’s camera bump solution to the apple one. The Apple case’s plastic rim around the camera looks cheap and there’s an uneven gap around it between the plastic and leather on every case which annoys me. Having full leather with a bit of a bump is better IMO, I think that picture is just unflattering and IRL it probably looks fine.

Still no plans to switch to bullstrap though because of their conspicuous logo on the back which I’m super not a fan of.

Not sure what’s going on here. Normal use for a little over a month now. My hands are very rough so maybe that’s what’s causing the case to age prematurely.

Damn, and that’s without that ridiculous sandpaper on a belt sander at highest speed for two hours modification?

Man my phone got patina before the case did. Took a tumble popped out of one corner and get a good dent on the stainless steel. Rip

Depends on what you consider sandpaper. 😉
I used to be a cement renderer and a brickys labourer in my younger days and that was what my hands were like. Today I got blisters from swinging a mattock for a few hours, soft as now lol.
