I went for standard shipping. Don't know about you.
Yeah I think I went for the faster shipping. I'm pretty sure it wasn't very expensive to add that. Oh well, hopefully yours shows up soon. It will be worth the wait. What color did you order?

I received mine today 🙂 It is Kingston who's waiting. Check my post at last page

I ordered one last week and it got to me in 3 days.
Are you in the US? I've sent Decoded 2 emails now asking them about my order, it seems to have just disappeared with zero updates after they sent me the tracking number a month ago.

UPDATE: Decoded responded to my email in less than a day and are sending me a new case Express at no charge! that's some great customer service.

Wow. I really dig that brown Decoded case. Can anyone using MagSafe accessories (mainly the wallet) attest to the magnet strength? My wallet goes everywhere with me and the last third party leather case I tried didn’t hold it near as snug as my Apple leather.

Yes, Illinois. They sent it UPS Express Saver. You may want to think about contacting your credit card company. The delivery window has gone much further than what I would call acceptable.

Damn that looks nice! I'm going with a dark blue Apple leather next time I upgrade and just use that case only. Looks very awesome

It’s deep violet. People think it is dark blue all of the time—even in person. All I see is purple though.

Is it me or it is already turning black on edges below the coating?
It’s not you. That’s why I focused on those angles. The most I’ve done is place my phone in cup holders every now and then while playing golf. Usually, it’s in my pockets. Could be dirt but I’ve seen the same for other colors…

I think it looks really good. That’s why I’ve always loved the midnight blue cases from the last few years. Dark blue and black look smokin together. The lighter colors get more of a dirty in-between look.

That's why I asked. It still looks ok. How old is it?

Have any Nomand, or other leather case owners, ever used any kind of conditioning/treatment products (oils, wax, creams etc)?

It’s common on many leather products to do so, it can make the patia look incredible and help ‘repair’ scratches, just wondering if anyone has ever done so with a leather case and what the results were like.

Can’t comment on the Nomads but on the Apple brand cases you’re wasting your time to apply a leather balm. The painted top coat the Apple is now using stops the leather from absorbing anything. If you remove the coating then balms will make a noticeable difference.

In higher quality leather like Decoded or Bullstrap the balms make a noticeable difference both in feel and appearance instantly because they don’t have a coating on them. I suspect Nomad would be the same.

You can. Nomad sells (or used to sell) their own branded leather balm.

I’ve used nomad for a long time. I bought the conditioner they recommended on their website and it worked good. It just darkened a little bit

I don’t see why everyone hates the 12 cases, I’ve been using it for a week and love it so far. There’s no way the color is “painted” on. There clearly is a coating, as in my experience all quality leather has to protect it. The whole point of patina is it takes time, sometimes years for arguments sake. Now I’m no expert on leather, but there’s no way the leather is painted.

It may not be paint but it’s got a paint like coating without a doubt. I too was happy with my apple case at first but it doesn’t age well.

It doesn’t take much reading on this thread to see I’m not the only one who believes there is paint there.

Yes I've used a conditioner on both my Nomad iPhone 12 rugged case and iPad Pro rugged folio. Really brings out a deep coffee bean coloured lustre and a nice patina seems to start almost straight away. My rugged folio came with a little sachet of cream but I already have my own so I just used that.
