Not at all. Office ape here. I’ve had several open bottom cases. Bullstrap on the 13Pro now and the bottom is scratch free.

I have both the Andar Aspen and the Apple leather case. The lip on the Andar is considerably taller than the Apple case.

I’ve never had issues with scratches with daily usage but it only takes one drop at the right angle and it can leave nasty scratches/ scuffs
 
I have an extra Bullstrap case in Sienna for the 13 pro max that I was planning to return this week. It’s still backordered on their site so if anyone wants it at cost ($75 shipped within the US), let me know.

Brand new case that arrived today vs 1 month old bullstrap case (both sienna). It’s aging beautifully. I love it!

This case has been my daily driver since I got it and I didn’t do anything special other than have it on my phone. My hand doesn’t touch the upper part as much so you can see it’s a bit lighter there. I try to touch the area when I remember to spread even patina, but phone is big (13PM) and my hand not quite big.

I posted earlier and you guys are super wonderful and helpful!

So I have a few more questions!! I’ve been searching and sifting through this thread all day lol but I want to see what the consensus is on bullstrap. Im SO close to pulling the trigger on a bourbon one. I have the 12 pro max and love the “dark cherry” color from Apple but since I’m skipping the 13 pro max (trust me I sometimes want to get it just for the cherry and pink chalk cases) I’m trying to find a beautiful rich leather case that is close enough to the cherry color. So far bullstrap bourbon seems the closest. If anyone has pictures opinions anything… most welcome! And if it’s something I need to be talked out of by all means I’m ok with that too!

Decided to use sanitizer with wipes on my golden brown peel off some of the dye coatings but not that much planning on doing this atleast every weekend, what do you think?
 
Guys, sorry for the off topic but I would appreciate if someone from Europe helps me with advice where can I buy a Bullstrap case online (UK or German merchant preferably). I know I can order it from the US but it will take time and a lot of customs administration and procedures that I want to avoid if possible.

The midnight dark blue is also amazing. It matches perfect with the silver iPhone 13 pro ?

So I decided to get a new case for my 12 Pro. Here's some of my past saddle brown cases along with the new one. Left to right, 12 Pro, 11 Pro Max, X, 7 Plus.
