Which is your favourite?
Protection wise, hands down Nomad. Dropped the phone from top of the stairs and phone rolled down to the bottom. No scratch or cracks. Love the patina but don’t like the rubber portion.

Andar’s leather feels nice but the case felt bulky. I like using the apple because it’s closed bottom and I am trying to break it in.

Is the Apple leather sticker than andar/nomad?

Ok iPhone leather case identifiers. Lincoln Lawyer. What case is this?

Wow, impress you are able to keep it almost scratch free. Mine is all scratched up.

Oh no… it gets scratched, it’s just all in the lighting and I add conditioner to it every few weeks. And as soon as it scratches I’ll dampen my thumb and wipe it until it almost disappears. Try it… I’m also anal with my electronics, so it doesn’t get dropped much.

Not a "case" -- it's a sleeve. But it is Apple leather. This one is the Baltic Blue Magsafe sleeve for the iPhone 12, and I'm using it with my 13 Pro Max. 2mo+

Looks like there’s some branding just above his finger but can’t make it out.
Yeah seems to be a variation of these common eBay case style. It’s probably the same stamped brand on the side lol:

Better lighting, both the case and band are from nomad. Natural wear. The only think I’ve done to it is every so often I’ll put some conditioning oil on it to keep it hydrated. You’re hard to beat when it comes to the Horween leather from Nomad
Which oil have you used? Can I get it in Hungary? This is soo nice! I think its beat Bullstrap…

Guys, is that conditioner good for both, Bullstrap and Nomad leather?

Got the Sequoia Green case for my 13 mini at weekend, can't imagine it patinas much, maybe just gets a bit darker?

How do you like the sleeve? I've considered getting one especially since I see them now for a fraction of the original price
The sleeve is perfect for me. It allows me to use my iPhone naked whenever I interact with it. That’s the part I love.

What you should be aware of is that the sleeve’s Magsafe features were designed to be used with the iPhone 12. For example, I’m using an iPhone 13, and the feature that is supposed to change the background color of the clock to match the color of the sleeve doesn’t work on my handset. To me, anyway that’s kind of a gimmick, so it’s not something I miss in the least. My 13 fits perfectly in the sleeve, so in that sense the sleeve is “compatible.”

Another thing some people complain about is that you have to take the phone out of the sleeve to answer a call. It’s not like you can simply hold it to your ear. But that’s another non-issue for me; I want to take out the iPhone 13 Pro Max, to use it caseless, and whenever I don’t want to interact with the device itself I’m using my AirPods Pro.

Some people online complain that the sleeve is tight, that the phone is difficult to take out, but that’s only when it’s brand new. After it’s broken in, the phone comes out with ease. Mine was broken-in in under a week.

If I remember correctly, Apple sells the sleeve for around $120, but I’m on VZW, and I got it from MyVerizon for around $70.

How is the button feel on cases where the leather covers the buttons? Do they feel as clicky as uncovered buttons, like on the Apple-made leather cases? I'm leaning towards getting the Ryan London case for my 12 Mini (for the price and I love the dark brown colour) but am hesitant because I'm concerned that the buttons will lose their clickiness.

For the first few days the buttons feel stiff but the leather will soften up pretty quick and then it’s fine. Well at least that’s my experience anyways.

My RL case didn’t have leather covered buttons. Did they change their cases?

Anyone knows what’s the difference between the nomad leather case or nomad horween leather case? Their website have these two as separate items. I thought they were all horween.

They should all be horween I think. There are some Apple Watch straps that are not horween, but I don’t think its the case for iPhone cases
