My AliExpress order for black leather (with red buttons, that people say the form factor resembles RL quite a bit) for ~$27 shipped from Ali today.

Still waiting on my Cretanbull. It got lost in the mail then held at the P.O. I have to pick up tomorrow. I’ll post pics right away.
Cretanbull shipments never seem to do well. USPS is far from their reliability when they were still delivering for Amazon. You could set a watch by their tracking.

Does anyone have pics of their 6+ month old sienna Bullstrap case that they’d be willing to show off? Really curious about how dark they get. I just got the nomad leather folio in rustic brown for my iPad and was wondering if the sienna would match it in a few months.

Attaching pictures of the Clayton & Crume case. The fit is excellent. The leather is nice but doesn’t have that smell that hits you in the face which is unfortunate. It’s quite slippery out of the box and looks like it’s treated in some way since the leather is a lot smoother than BS or Cretanbull. I do like that the bottom is closed. The buttons feel excellent.
Speaking of Cretanbull, I got their Ochre case and I am a huge fan. Definitely feels exactly like my ocean BS case and even has the smell.
Also Cretanbull messed up and sent me two cases. It’s for the 14 PM. If anyone else wants the extra(not pictured but it looks identical), I’m happy to part ways with it for $30 incl shipping. DM me and we can work it out.

Cretanbull shipment finally arrived. Here are the clay and ash cases. I can’t decide which I like more. I ordered both because I couldn’t decide on a color, and I’ll probably send one back.

Anyone ever own a case from Saddleback Leather? They are apparently about to release a case for the 14 pro. I watched a video on how its made, pretty interesting stuff. Looks bulky but unique. I own one of their bags and love it, its 5 years old or so now. Here's the video if anyone is interested:
I had one for my 13 mini. Unique case, but the buttons are terrible. Supposedly, the buttons should loosen up over time, but on my case they did not. I took a dremel to the power button and volume up/down buttons to thin out the leather making the buttons a lot easier to press.
And you are correct, the case is indeed bulky. The leather used is 3mm thick if I remember correctly.
I would stay away from those saddle back cases they loosen over time and those buttons are horrible
I’ve never been a fan. Little too “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” for my tastes (that’s not to say anything bad about the flick; it’s in my top 10).
It'll get dirty really quickly. I kind of lean towards it not looking good but you never know until that patina kicks in. But I think it'll age like the Dune cases but look dirtier.
