I would personally go Forest Green. You can get the Saddle Brown any time but Forest Green is a limited run just like with the XS series. It also looks phenomenal. If they had it for the iPhone XR I would buy it in a heartbeat.
I've had the Saddle Brown for my iPhone 7 in the past and they patina exactly how quality leather should, so if you like that look then Saddle Brown is a great option.

I agree that you should consider Forest Green. I am too, to be honest. I LOVE my saddle brown on my 8 Plus, but like was mentioned, that's a permanent color. Not to mention, once the phone's been out for a while, you'll be able to find it on Amazon at a discount.

Forest Green all the way for me - may look a bit weird against the silver/white camera panel if you get a silver phone though
I have the black, saddle brown and forest green leather cases for my Xs Max and the Forrest green is the best quality out of the 3.
It might be coincidence but somehow the FG feels and smells better. I’ve done a blind test, smell and feel and every time I can pick out the FG. It’s the best leather case I’ve had from Apple. As I say, it might be luck of the draw but that’s my experience.

[doublepost=1568673324][/doublepost]I was originally going to get the new Midnight Green, but I ended up buying the space gray because I was not a fan of how the green contrasted with other color cases such as saddle brown or Product red or even midnight blue. In my opinion I felt space gray was more neutral and it’ll pretty much match anything

My thinking was the same. So I went with Space Gray and ordered the Midnight Blue and Forest Green cases. Yippee!
Any pics of the aged sunflower case? I always thought it would just turn black around the edges.

Hope I am wrong, but bright colours don't age well I guess?
I have 3 “old” and now another new saddle brown case to break in. The only real complaint from me is how slippery it is for the first few weeks until it starts to break in a bit. I wish these could be modified somehow because I have been buying them since the 6 Plus.
I usually go over the case with a magic eraser to get rid of the smooth slippery coating on the leather, but for some reason my midnight blue 11 pro case was pretty grippy right out of the box so I skipped the magic eraser ritual this year.
Here's what you new midnight blue folks have to look forward to!

With just normal use or did you try treating it to accelerate patina? This is my third MB case and they've all looked like this before eventually darkening to near black.
Nah, just normal use - I don't get involved with trying to accelerate it - I'll only mess it up haha!
Post some pics of your new iphone! LOL. I can't decide what colour leather case to get. I ended up getting space grey and blue leather case. I was going to get green, but didn't like any of the apple case combinations on it.
