Bought a Forrest Green case for my midnight green Pro Max. Decided on my way out of the mall to go back and see if I could get a “better” one. The one I have for my XS Max is the nicest leather case I’ve had from Apple and the one I bought didn’t seen as nice. When I got to the store I discovered they’d given me the one for the smaller Pro and not the Max. Exchanged and got a nice one.

Saddle brown on Midnight Green. Looking forward to seeing this case evolve.
I think as the case ages it’ll look sharp. I know there are some people who are super picky about the phone matching the case, but at the end of the day, once the case is on only 5% of the phones color actually shows. I’m not one of those people who need the perfect match lol.
iPhone 11 pro midnight green with saddle brown case vs my 11 month old XS Max saddle brown case..
I was too impatient to wait for the patina to naturally form, so I went ahead and aged my saddle case for my midnight 11 pro last night.
That forest green is really beautiful though (!)
Used sandpaper followed by olive oil and brown leather show polish

Debating on getting the yellow case but past experience for these cases was that it did not patina very well. It started to look dingy and dirty. Should I stick to the midnight blue or red???
For some reason, the case I got is really sharp and digging into my finger when I hold it at the bottom. Thinking to go and exchange.
I bought blue, and then exchanged for red. I was rushed when I exchanged it for red though because the store was very busy. I'm embarrassed to exchange it again. Now I want yellow. :/

Anybody’s power button on their leather case feel almost too easy to press? Not sure how I feel about it- mine is almost as easy to press as it is without a case on, can almost hit it by accident just having your finger on it. I know some are too stiff which is even more bothersome, but curious how others power button feel- very easy to push?
Xs max saddle brown daily driver after 6 months of considerable use. Officially the longest time I’ve used a single case.

Mine is absolutely perfect. The one I had on my XS was too stiff and had no tactile feedback whatsoever. Wasn’t a fan of that at all.
For those who got the yellow leather, please post pics when it starts to patina. Thanks!
And the journey begins again. I looked at other colors but none of them come close to the midnight blue for me.
