Not really digging the Autumn colours, they seem a little dull. I would have loved the sunset for the Pro. How often do Apple release new colours? quarterley? twice a year?

Just upgraded to a midnight green Pro Max and saying goodbye to saddle brown (at least for now until a sale 😄). Was debating whether to do forest green, but I decided to go with boring black this year. Curious to see how it'll age

I got the saddle brown for my midnight green but returned it for the Forrest green. Didn’t think the saddle brown matched.

Saddle brown here for the 11 pro. Been on the phone since launch day. I’m hoping for some nice patina action. Lol

Do these cases develop better grip over time? I just bought the saddle brown case for my iPhone X. It looks great and I'm really looking forward to the patina look eventually. It is however quite slippery in my hands. I'm hoping as the surface gets some wear to it the grip will tighten up a bit.

Yes, they do get better over time. Help it along by rubbing your hands over it. Give it a week before you consider returning.

I've always lusted after Apple's Saddle Brown leather cases, but opted for Spigen Slim Armor cases for rock-solid protection. But I can't hold back any longer - I'm going to buy the Saddle Brown leather with my iPhone purchase this coming weekend, because these wear-in photos are just so super-gorgeous!

Guess I'll need to be extra careful with the phone, they don't seem like great protection; but I can't resist but to take a shot with it!

Mine seems to be developing a better grip now. I’ve been using the saddle brown since 09/20 and like mentioned, I’ve been rubbing my hands over it more than usual and it seems to be wearing in.

I've been genuinely surprised by how protective leather can be actually. It can definitely withstand basic drops and tumbles, plus it will add some character to your case.

FYI, Target is selling the black and brown leather cases for the Pro for $39.99 right now, $10 less than normal retail.

If you buy in store, show them the online price as it will ring up at the $49.99 price.

I can second this. My XS ate the concrete more than once in its leather case and came out okay. The case will get scuffs/gouges but they kind of blend in over time and could even be said to "heal" as they age.

Saddle brown after 3 years on my 6S. Shame Apple don't make leather cases for the 11, as that's what I'll be buying in a week or two.

I’m in a similar position. Think it’s crap that Apple only make them for the Pro models.

Check out the Mujjo cases - about as close as you can get I think.

I just got the black leather for my 11 pro. It’s a bit lighter, but I love it! Had ever leather case since the iPhone 5. Love them! Anyone else that got the black think it feels like the old iPhone 5 leather case? It’s super soft and feels like much different leather than the past several leather cases. My 7, and X were much more smooth and slippery.

I dropped my phone in an elevator with the back down and didn't get a scratch. The leather case was a bit worn, but phone was 100%.

I sent mine back. It’s more grey then black don’t you think? My one for my XS Max was blacker.

Ok, it's that time again. This year is Forest Green leather case for XS Max after a year.
