Here is my Keyway Whiskey at exactly 3 weeks. ( first photo is day one ).

Interesting, I looked for a product of theirs before I posted here. Looks like I can't purchase Stop Color in the US. Is there a generic name for this type of product? Their product page wasn't super detailed.
That’s quite odd. There’s a crap load of companies selling Saphir products in the US, none of them has it? Don’t know of any generic name, but I suppose googling for the phrase “leather color stop” is as good as it’ll get.

Thats why you get a bunch of different ones and rotate.
I really would like to avoid this and just use 1 case. But once my case turns fully dark brown I might reconsider. Had my Ryan London for 9 days and I see very faint darkening on the very edge/corner of the right side, where the case meets my palm. Nothing whatsoever on the backside yet.

Yeah the community seems pretty divided over the X. Doesn’t bother me really. It’s unique and different.
The paint on my X is starting to chip and I've barely used the case for 2.5 weeks. I'll just treat it like patina wear, but it doesn't inspire confidence. The X is kind of a big turn off despite liking everything else about this Keyway. If they're serious about grabbing new customers, they should really consider engraving it for their next lineup.

Once this leather gets super dark or dirty looking, my next case to replace it will likely be Andar's Dune. If Ryan London offered more colors, I'd be interested to try out their new closed bottom cases too.

Wow. That is fast for basically 2 weeks. Looks great but at this rate it’s going to be pretty much black in a year.
In the past I’ve gotten a few cases to avoid it but I think it’s just from me working outside and using my phone throughout the day at work.

I preordered their closed bottom case so I’ll be bouncing back and forth from that one and mine currently lol. But i made a deal with the better half to not spend $600+ on cases this year lol

I was afraid of that. I noticed one of the reviews on their website mentioned the paint chipping off the X. I apparently got some kind of moisture inside the X on mine and it bubbled up the leather. I think it may have been when I applied leather conditioner to it. Keyway is sending me a new case though so I’ll be more careful about putting anything wet near the X. Totally agree they should ditch the X or engrave it. I’m hopeful the bare skin case will be as good as the Keyway but mine still hasn’t shipped yet.

At least Keyway shows reviews that are not 100% perfect. I wrote a review for Ryan London that was not 5 stars and it hasn’t been published on their site. It’s obvious they only post positive 5 star reviews on there, which I feel is a rather disgusting practice.

You think it would be more "safe" to buy the Andar or Ryan London's closed bottom case?
From what I read, both brands are quality, but I suppose Andar has more experience in making full closed cases, instead the new Ryan London one is their first closed model.

Does someone have both Nomad and Andar/Decoded?
I would like to see some comparison pics, because I really like the idea to have a 2 tones leather case , but from YT videos it seems that the margins are very thick on Nomad, especially on the bottom...

I would go with Ryan London over andar any day. Ryan London has superior leather quality

If you like the closed bottom I would with something like Bare or Ryan London instead

Nomad went more towards drop protection and case longevity. It’s not a full leather case, sides are plastic.

Where do you get this from? Have you had both cases? I have not heard anyone say this before.
Yes I have had both and Andar has always let me down. I’ve had the brown and the camel tan and recently bought the jet black this time around. They have all had some kind weird issue. I’ve never gotten a bad case from RL or Bullstrap.

I bought the sand Andar, and have the senna BS, and the BS is so much more dry leather. I would say it’s worse in my opinion.

Yeah but it’s really nice. I have a buddy that uses nothing but. Holding that phone was what drove me to get my own.

I can attest to that. I have a Ryan London that’s really good. Andar, on the other hand, sent me two cases that didn’t fit my phone and the third one I used for about a week and the camera ring was all dinged up.

Bullstrap and RL are far and away the best leather I’ve tried. Gotta say those Keyway cases look nice though.

Yeah I don’t typically trust reviews from a companies website, especially if they are all 4/5 stars. Amazon is just as bad now with all the fake reviews. I have to run Fakespot before I buy anything.
