Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

My new blue Andar (with the action button) came this week, and my replacement Bullstrap came last week (to replace the one that didn't have the magsafe magnets). So now I've got 3 very nice leather cases. I like them all!

Below: Andar Aspen (Navy, with action button), Andar Aspen (Brown, with action button cutout), Bullstrap (Bourbon)

I am out of country until the end of the month and my Andar Navy already arrived at home and is waiting for me. I am really happy when I see this picture as it seems to be less greenish as last year. it looks amazing. sn you show us so e more pictures of it?

The cinnamon colored bare case I have ordered (10 days ago 😣) isn’t here yet.. but the action button looks to be off slightly? That’s a bummer smh

Nice pics though and the color of the leather is nice, using with natural titanium iPhone?

10/31 here and USPS is still waiting for the package. Email support took days to respond earlier.

It’s nice they are active here but Yeesh, not having a clue where the order is or when I’m getting it 18 days later is not ideal.

I ordered 10/30 and same story. When I ordered there was no pre-order or back order warning so I was under the impression it would ship in 3-5 days. Boy was I wrong.

Looks like mine just got to New York last night but if the action button is off like the pictures posted, it will likely be going back unless the case is absolutely perfect in every other way.

same. i have seen them be active in this forum, but their email response is very slow. my tracking still shows awaiting package. i was optimistic about the bare case but it's beginning to feel like they're just another rebranded generic case maker

that being said, whenever it does arrive i'm hoping its a good one lol. we're a few months into the phone being released and by the time i settle on a case it'll be time to buy the 16

Their marketing photos suggest the action button should be aligned with the volume buttons. I'm sure this was just a production issue. Reach out to them if it really bothers you and I'm sure they'll make it right.

Agreed, the marketing pictures show perfect alignment and quite frankly at this price point they should be perfectly aligned. It would bug me but everyone is different. The case does look great! Hopefully this is just a QC issue. I am eyeing the brown one when it is released.

So the Navy has no Teal tinge to it as far as you can see? The pics show a fairly dark Navy. I actually like the marketing photos with a Teal tinge to the color, similar to Apple's Pacific Blue. Was thinking of ordering the Navy Andar during the black friday 30% off sale that's to start, but if the color has no Teal tinge to it like the apple's pacific blue color, than I may not order it. Of course, personal preference here, but surprised at how different Andar's marketing shots are.

I did have a Navy Macbook case from Andar a couple of years ago, and it had a teal tinge to it just like the online photos so was hopeful for this one as well. Thanks for sharing!

Yep, shouldn't be that far off on a "premium" case. My Keyway is bang on perfect. My bullstrap is not quite as good as the Keyway but certainly better than the Bare case. I wonder if they are rushing production to keep up with demand and this is the result. They should be willing to exchange for a new one or if they really want to make a good impression just send a replacement.

No email response from bare cases for the last week. I tried several emails.. their response time was within hours for the last couple of weeks though.

The Keyway has been my favorite by far but I can’t use it with the Belkin car mount in my daily driver. The X sticks out too far so the mount doesn’t sit flush on the back so my phone falls off constantly. If it weren’t for that, I would have found my “perfect” leather case.

The “X” being a purely visual design choice is one thing, but messing with functionality is a big no no.

I understand what you mean. I don’t use a car mount but I do use a MagSafe wallet so I understand. What they should have done if they want that look would just be inlay a black x made out of black leather so it’s flush. Same look with better functionality.

Got this Tole delivered today from India. Postage took about two weeks to the UK.

Overall, l'd say of all the cases I have - Apple silicone, Mujjo, Ryan London and the AliExpress knock off Apple, this one has by far the nicest feel in the hand. I don't necessarily mean the leather - that feels fine too - but in terms of the shape of it holding it. Not exactly like Apple but the closest. Mujjo is too square, Ryan too round and bulky, similar to the AliExpress one.

I'm a fan!

I am not sure about yours but the Aspen I received for the 15 PM has some extremely clicky buttons. It was a pleasant surprise as any Andar I had for the previous two generations had some wonky buttons with either one or two of them with almost no feedback upon pressing.
