Honestly the slate BS is the best looking leather case I’ve ever seen but if you rest most of the phones weight on your pinky there’s no way it will be comfortable. I’ve tried to remember to hold my phone differently but it doesn’t last and I end up switching back to my slate Keyway after a couple hours. I’m probably going to return the BS because I can’t get used to the open bottom. I think I’m closed bottom for life! 😁
I bought it to try with my Merlot case, that just came last week. Do you need it? Probably not. I will say it is a really nice leather conditioner, but if you already have one, you'll be fine. If you don't have one, it's worth the $7. It did darken up my case a bit, and hydrated the leather, so it's not slippery anymore, but again, any good conditioner will do that. Adding conditioner will also speed up the patina process because you're adding oils into the pours of the leather, which is what patina is.
Thanks for your input. I’m new to leather this year. I did order it with my case. Based on your exp, I’ll likely not apply it fresh out the box and instead I’ll keep it for when it starts to get scratches etc.

Technically red after about almost 5 weeks. It’s definitely lost it’s cherry red and more muted. No dye bleed on MagSafe just yet. As seen in the past with colored leather, the red is going to patina to a black although; more slowly than apples colored leather cases. The lighting is definitely exaggerating the color difference on the edges. Overall impressed by how even the patina is coming along, even the right of the camera has a little going.
This looks amazing. I had the red leather from Apple on my iPhone 8 and always wished they’d bring it back. I gave it to a coworker and he’s still using it on his SE. Despite its age, it’s still a very obvious red.
I hope this stays red and doesn’t get those dark black edges like we used to see no some of the colored apple cases, took a risk knowing it might happen. there is almost a red brown hue tho in some of the lighter spots. Will see how it ages, usually only last 3 months before I switch up my cases.
That is patina-ing (if that is a word) much better than I expected.
Day 1 Bare leather case in the Midnight Blue paired with Blue Titanium.
Has a teal-ish hue to it similar to the Andar but its definitely a lighter shade than the Andar.
The case feels very similar to the Andar case, buttons and fit are great. Have had no issues whatsoever so far.

oh no. I really hoped it would be a real blue and not greenish. I think mine is not shipped yet. I hope I can still cancel it. I already have the andar in this color. I think I will give loneli classic another chance. I hope by now they fixed the misaligned magsafe magnet. This was my only complaint with it.
