I think it will be staying on my phone for a while, so I will update after some time with patina picsLooks great. Very curious to see how this ages.

Would you guys say Bullstrap has the thickest leather of all the leather cases?
definitely thicker than the closed bottom RL
I love the patina on my RL as well. I was worried that the brown would be too bright, but the patina is definitely coming along.Almost a week on my Ryan London and it’s starting to show some character. Very nice case and meets my same expectations as my open bottom.

The clicking goes away once it starts absorbing your oils. I’ve had BS cases or RL cases click on the sides too.Ryan London Dark Brown full coverage finally arrived.
The leather feel to me is better than Andar (which is also excellent), but the Andar case fits better, every corner of the cover clicks on the phone and holds firmly, while the RL on the bottom edges seems to slip off (I tested as much as I could and it isn't terrible, but really bothers me).

No yeah mine clicks on the bottom corners but it doesn’t really slip off unless i press it off.I probably described it wrong, what I meant with Aspen clicking is how well it snaps onto the phone.
RL snaps on firmly at both top corners, but the bottom corners seem to slip off slightly with little to no effort.
Sadly exchanging it is not an option for me.
I genuinely would be worried that if it dropped, the phone might pop out. No matter how nice a case is, I don’t think it justifies putting your phone in peril. But you do you.I probably described it wrong, what I meant with Aspen clicking is how well it snaps onto the phone.

I agree completely with you, that's why it's sadly back in the box, and I am again looking for a brown leather case.I genuinely would be worried that if it dropped, the phone might pop out. No matter how nice a case is, I don’t think it justifies putting your phone in peril. But you do you.
I was wrong. It’s split all the way through. Slippery little bugger dropped out of my hand and hit squarely on the rim of the dog’s ceramic water dish. I’d say it did its duty wonderfully but this leather is way more cushioned/thicker than the Ryan London I was using before.I don’t think so. I don’t want to pull the crack open until I get the new one but it seems like it’s just the leather that split.
They appear to be.Are Bullstrap and Cretanbull essentially the same case and leather but just different colors?
Yes, but one comes with an aggressive seller who utters threats and doesn't stand behind his product. Bullstrap is the clear choice between these two.Are Bullstrap and Cretanbull essentially the same case and leather but just different colors?
