My RL tan case looked a lot more orange than yours does in the photos... So I returned it. I wonder if they're different now?

keep in mind that in this sample the leather was rather dry, I took the photos as soon as it was removed from the package for future reference. having asked to look for a cover with stripes perhaps it was in stock as "not fully compliant". in my eyes it is beautiful just as it is.

MAOGOAM Genuine Vegetable-Tanned Leather Case

in today, very nice leather, smells good. perfect fit and cutouts with clicky buttons. will let you know how will patina. sort of premium packaging, too. with info ad pictures. “horween style leather” is marketing legend.

That look identical to my ryan london closed bottom. Might pick it up to compare.

Same. Might doesn't look anywhere as light as this one. This color looks more bullstrap territory.

Curious how you compare to lucky coin too.

leather is different in feel, LuckyCoin is more similar to Ryan London. MaoGoam is natural and without a surface finish (a drop of water leaves the stain) but consider it stickier, more grippy. personally I prefer the leather of LC and RL.
I've got the saddle brown Ryan london ob and tan Luckycoin cb and was wondering how they compare to the Ryan London cb, would you mind posting photos comparing the three and your thoughts? Was thinking of picking up a RL closed bottom since I got a 20% discount, but everyone says the cb is 'inferior' to the ob.

on the leather side I perceive minimal differences, we are talking about high quality covers. the buttons however have big differences, on the RL OB they are rounded and more pleasant to the touch. Furthermore, the leather ring is gentler on the fingers than a metal or plastic ring.

my ranking today could be 1) RL-OB 2) LC 3) RL-CB

COLORS
Left LC (new)
Center RL-CB (mild use)
Right RL-OB (new)

Yep, I personally prefer the open bottom cases and was looking for a dark brown open bottom case - suprisingly very few options that are truly brown without hints and tints of red etc.
How are the buttons on these? When you get a chance can you take a pic on the phone?

Will try to get some this evening for you 👍

Buttons are very nice, almost identical to bullstrap/RL and most other open bottom ones but the leather trimming around the buttons is very, very neat and tidy.

Here is my Nomad English Tan Day 1 vs Day 30. I know the TPU sides isn't massively popular here but I have to admit its very nice to hold in hand and use daily. Its my first Nomad and so far I'm very happy with it. It was a bit of an adjustment coming from full leather cases like Bullstrap, Keyway, Decoded, Apple, etc but the leather quality is very good on this case.

Looks really good. I think the TPU is nice because it lets the case be a bit thinner. This is the first pic I've seen of the tan patina, it has me interested in picking one up.

Satchel & Page case arrived today…
Very high quality, and a lovely leather feel in hand unlike anything else I’ve tried so far!

I personally think it's the nicest in-hand feeling case I've tested (RL, LC, Bullstrap, Keyway, Andar, Nomad).
It's got a feel of a high quality leather wallet/bag more so than a phone case.

The leather is soft though, so if you don’t like patina or ageing then this isn’t going to be a good choice.

For those of you who use a leather case as your daily driver, how often do you use leather conditioner to clean the case?
Once a month?
